I don’t think that’s possible. Only the salary goes to the team that gets the player in a trade. The dead money would have stayed in Cleveland. The bills got out for free, except for the pick if it was not conditional.
The dead money is due to guaranteed salary. The Browns ate the bonus dead money, but the guaranteed salary (and eventually dead money) followed him to Buffalo.

Punt returns...!

Meh. Can't be worse than McCarron. Make him run sprints down the field all day and see who he drags with him. Maybe toss 1 over the top if they don't respect his speed enough.

This is the Patriot kind of move for the people wanting dez or Gordon.
Equally risky with similar upside.
Unlike dez he comes in with no demands which would lead to attitude problems and unlike Gordon if he delivers anything we don’t have to worry about disappearing one night.

Patriot risky moves are usually ones without fallout if they fail.

you really think Corey Coleman has similar upside to Josh Gordon? Even as a prospect, before he flopped spectacularly, I don't think many people would have agreed with that.

Depends on if you really think josh Gordon will ever be anything like he was 5 years ago after all if his self destruction.
He just played 69 snaps on a day his team threw the ball 40 times and had 1 catch on 3 targets.

Put him and Patterson on the field at the same time and then audible....what would they do....HOLY Playbook Confusion. LOL.

Bills cut him because of his poor attitude and inability to run precise routes. Not sure why Bill feels like things will be better in NE.

His best game I saw last year came against Ramsey, for what that's worth. Could see him in some packages so that Hogan could work inside. Obviously he would have limited snaps, but they may give him a few specific plays.

Where has anyone said he had a bad attitude with the Bills? The GM said the guy worked his tail off and they just didn’t Jell and felt they didn’t have time

This is what I read. It s a huge challenge to come in without OTA or TC and learn complex systems. I see it like Dorsett last year. Was unproductive trying to learn on the fly. Different player Sunday.

I mean his coach admitted it was a mistake he was even on the field in the first place and should have never even been out there. I wouldn’t take much stock in how he was used in that game considering how dysfunctional his team is.

Got a 10 on his Wonderlic.

Not exactly a Mensa candidate.
