2019 Draft Prospect Thread

Don't agree w everything you said @miloofcroton but it's nice to see someone else go hard in the draft forum. I joined this mb for this forum & it's been so empty so I appreciate the effort.
Hopefully it continues & we get some grades/tiers from you come draft time.

I've been on the Allen, AJ, Rapp, Wingard & a few other bandwagons as all.
I appreciate that you appreciate it. On another forum that I was on, I ended up talking to myself.

Thanks to both.

Its the seasons. Normally concentration is on NFL now. Draft evaluations after week 1 make only so much sense. Its more about making watching lists for the winter, listing new names in lineups, following improvements..

But don't worry . the moment Pats lose 1st game it might get crowded here looking for the new saviours..

I also believe one position that will be drafted next yr . despite affordable FA market . is safety. Pats will desperately need some young blood there after Richards, Travis and AJ Moore are gone.

Deionte Thompson had a monster first game . great range, hard hitter for a FS position, very willing to support the run game. He looked much improved from this Georgia game last season.

I wonder how BB sees his character and smarts but on the field he is worth following..

____

On the other side of the ball I was impressed by TE Hentges' blocking. He also plays ST as does move TE Smith.

ST guy to watch for Pats is Keaton Anderson . both gunning and blocking..

After watching Clemson and Texas a&m, I was wowed by the beasts on the Clemson defensive line.

Wilkins is a man among boys.

nice to see confirmation . plenty to work with

while the bears 2nd will be lower than most people expected . DET 3rd could be significantly higher “compensating“ the difference

Hello all...

After last nights **** show..

Any prospects that we should be looking at?

I will start to try and get my usual LB list going at some point.

Im definitely starting to look at line backers. I understand bb likes to have bigger backers but the ones he takes cant run with running backs or tight ends, which to me puts so much more importance on patrick chung and as we saw last night its a mess when hes not available. Im not sure if its just me but it also seems as if hightower isnt playing with the same power he used to. His last year healthy he was playing, an o linemen would very rarely be able to get hands on him cleanly without getting knocked back and that doesnt seem to be the case so far. But as of right now I think im starting on the defensive side.

Whilst we have Brady, I’m basically pro defence all the way in the draft. Agree with you about HT, he just doesn’t look himself, hopefully he will get back to his usual standard sooner rather than later.

My biggest concern is the fact we can’t stop the run game which is a huge worry for me.

The best in this draft is the kid from LSU, devin white. He is very under sized, but a sideline to sideline beast.

The one I really think fits our scheme is he kid from Notre dame, coney. Love the speed, tackling and motor. Appears to have high courage, but is also very under sized.

And of course, how can we forget the latest offerings from Tuscaloosa. Jennings, Lewis and Miller all could be special in our defense, if they can stay healthy. All have size, speed and instincts, plus pass rushing skill, if they can stay healthy.

Will have a look into all of these guys today and see what I can make of them all. Will also look at DT as I want another wilfork for this team.
