Can you still make trades after today? I am not a fan of darboh but i like Hansen. I don’t know if any of these guys will bring anything to the table.

You make a claim without knowing what other teams might too. Your assigned the player if you were higher in the waiver process based on last year's finish.

Yes, the Pats may have put in a claim on more, but they only were awarded the 2 receivers.

I understand that but the wording of 17 teams assigned players was not clear.

It's not surprising that the Giants got 6 and Cleveland 7 -- they were at 1 and 2. My guess is that most other teams were asking for similar numbers, but not getting them.

Now a question. Is there a requirement for long those players have to stay on the roster of their new teams?

No, they can be cut as soon as the new team decides it made a mistake.

Thats if they sign another team's practice squad player.

I think there's a possibility that at least one of Darboh and Hansen are NOT on the Pats 53-man roster for next Sunday.
