Damn, Vikings are loaded on D. Too bad they have Cousins at QB.
Is that good or bad I mean with Kirk Cousins at QB?? I think he's overrated but he has quite a Team around in Minnesota very good Skilled Position Players on both sides of the ball.
Rubbish. Cousins is a better QB than SmithSo far he has sucked in the preseason. Jay Gruden might have been right when he said they have the better QB now in Alex Smith.
Teams have won Super Bowls with worse QBs than Cousins, whom in my opinion, is a GOOD QB.So far he has sucked in the preseason. Jay Gruden might have been right when he said they have the better QB now in Alex Smith.
Many teams gave mired in mediocrity with QBs like Cousins.Teams have won Super Bowls with worse QBs than Cousins, whom in my opinion, is a GOOD QB.
If Alex Smith of last year is the new Alex Smith then I disagree. Otherwise, yes Kirk for sure. Solid backup in Siemian too, Siemian was never a guy who should have been starting, but very capable backup.Rubbish. Cousins is a better QB than Smith
Adam Schefter follows that guy. I guess he’s the producer for Florio’s show. Over the cap says that Thomas’ cap hit post trade would be 8.5 million this year. That’s probably doable.
An interesting thought if Sutton is emerging for Denver. Thomas isn’t the toughest WR but a good fit here route running wise. We could cut him in 2019 easily to avoid his mega cap hit.
I'd give Horse Mouth a 6th-rounder for him, but only if the donkeys pay half of his salary.Fits the (perhaps imagined) recent BB preference for bigger WRs (6032/225). Drafted by McD and played in his system for a bit.
Turns 31 this coming XMas Day. Might end up being $8.5M (plus trade cost) for a one-year rental. The $8.5M is fully guaranteed, so the Pat would be on the hook for that whether he worked out or not - even if he got injured and went to IR.
The Pats currently have about $8.16M in cap space, so they'd actually need to free up and additional $6M-$7M in order to have an in-season injury emergency fund.
