Hoyer is just aweful. Can't even make plays vs 2nd and 3rd stringers.

Rams are down 20-0. Is their season over? Reacting to preseason just seems silly. Look at individual progress, teaching moments, understanding of the scheme, etc. I'm encouraged by a lot of the additions. Gilmore will play better in live games, and that was the majority of the first downs early.

Oh, and in case it isn't obvious, Brady >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hoyer. We'll be fine.

I'm following the game via ESPN gametime. Besides Hoyer and the defense, it appears the punt coverage hasn't been up to BB standards.

He's naturally the guy people were hyping up this week as a potential Richards replacement.

If Etling shows something in the second half, it may be a good timing to cut Hoyer and try to trade for a better backup flying under the radar. There's an element of QBing in training camp though that a new guy would need weeks to grasp the playbook so I guess this is a long shot but he really sucks.

The defensive philosophy won’t change. This team will give up yards to crappy QBs. Some teams will try to exploit the LBs in open space. The offense will mask the problems as long as they put up more points than the other team.
