I love my Pats and I love shark week, so to see Gronk involved in shark week was really cool..............and scary at the same time.

He was scuba diving with tiger sharks and a hammer head shark literally within a couple of feet from him.

Really cool visual and I'm sure it was an awesome experience. I'm sure Bill wasn't thrilled, but we all know from his wrestling appearances "Gronk will be Gronk".

Aaron Rodgers and Lindsey Vaughn had segments as well.

I think it was a good idea to get celebrities involved in the action.

If you haven't seen it you should check it out (it's called MONSTER TAG). I'm sure most of you can find it on demand.

Bill would be OK with Alex Guerrero free diving with Great Whites.

Used to spend a lot of timing diving off the West End of Grand Bahama. You can't believe the shark action ....they are everywhere. Nurse, Lemon, Tiger, Reef, Hammerheads. For fun, we'd catch a fish, bleed it into the water and wait for the fireworks. It never took long to attract a crowd.
I once came face to face with a giant hammerhead at 120ft....while exploring a cave on a wall dive. It was terrifying. The giant passed by within 2 feet paying me no mind. That hammer with an eye on each end.......alien-like.
On a night dive...came across a dozen sharks asleep on the seabed with their heads stuffed under a coral ledge. I let them sleep.

There was an article about his trip in the latest ESPN the magazine:

Fear and floating in the Caribbean

I saw some of it on one of the TVs on my lunch break today, I believe he, Lindsey Vonn and Aaron Rodgers were among some of the athletes featured this week.

Edit: Obviously you mentioned Vonn & Rogers in your original post, was posting quick after seeing the thread title ... I'm an idiot

Gronk took that tiger shark right out the club, Rodgers played with some girly shark.
Echoing Borg, we used to spend a lot of time sailing & diving the Bahamas before we had a family but it slipped away a bit with kid wrangling and what not. We were fortunate enough to be able to 'retire' young enough to still be active and spent the lion's share of the first year down there. It is actually better now than it ever was. Huge areas of the Bahamian chain are now marine sanctuaries and the results have been spectacular. If you ever have the opportunity to take it in don't pass it by, truly phenomenal.

It is spectacular. The water clarity, big fish, living reefs.........puts S Florida to shame. When I win Megamillions tonight....Bakers Bay here I come

If you've never done it put a drift dive (or 5) through Current Cut on your bucket list. It's a tremendous experience. The tidal rip between Great Eleuthera and Current Island literally propels you through The Cut.

Sharks are tasty
Not sure how you know...considering

I've had all the Gronk and Brady news I can handle for this off season.
Play ball!
