Injuries take another warrior.

Always enjoyed watching him play. He had a great run and hopefully his health will allow him to enjoy the fruits of his labors.

Yeah he was a warrior. Hope his neck heals.

The Legion of Boom is not a moniker that would ever be bestowed upon a defensive unit with expectations of longevity.

Now, The Legion of Efficient, Wrap-Up Tacklers, that's a different story altogether.....

He was definitely a player QBs had to account for when assessing the defense. I hope he recovers and no serious/lasting issues for his long term health. He was the kind of player (from football impact) you would love having on your team.

The mind was willing but the body had had enough.

Its going to at worst be a top 10 pick

Barring a Wilson injury I think they will surprise and get to that 7-9 8-8 record. I like what they did in the draft. I think griffin gets major PT on defense and does well and if Chris Carson returns to full health the combo of he and penny will give Wilson a run game that at least resembles what he had to start his career.

They were 7-9 before having the strength of the team decimated.
They were 6-3 allowing about 17.5 ppg before Sherman and chancellor went down and then went 3-4 the rest of the way allowing over 23 Ppg. And they lost more that just those 2.
Wilson can win with a good defense. He won’t win with a mediocre and/or bad one.

Maybe not top 10 but Seattle will have a losing record for sure.
