Should we offer a third for Shane Ray and Paxton Lynch.

They declined the option on Ray regardless what Elway says about Lynch hes fighting for a spot.

I offer a third and Jordan Richards for them both.

Ray certainly seems to be on his way out in Denver, how many of the 2015 first round bust can the Pats have on one team? The decision to pick up his option (and Dorsett, Shelton, & Brown's) options are due soon.

I don't think they want to give up on Lynch (just yet), but he has no real future.

Richards, I believe, has a salary charge of almost $1.2 million this year and has shown nothing to make it appear he belongs in the NFL at all. He's an absolute negative in terms of trade value.

I don't think elway is going to bite at that trade and pure passrushers don't seem to interest bill too much. He pass on Landry twice.

Ray is a one trick pony who isn’t even that good at his one trick. He would suck here being asked to be versatile and not just rush the passer with no other duties and get about a sack every 3 games.

Shane Ray projects to be an off the ball LB in our system. He's similar in size to Hightower and Van Noy. I don't think he's a every down DE. Given scheme and experience then, he's likely sitting behind Hightower and Van Noy (not to mention Rivers potentially). A 3rd seems a lot to give up in this instance given his skill set is replicated. We need more of a cover backer.

He can get to the QB Paxton Lynch I think just needs a new start.
If he gets released we should be all over him.
I certainly prefer him to Johnny Manziel and has way more upside than Hoyer and a any of the QBs who went in the middle rounds this season.
I wouldnt rule it out.
