The one thing he doesn’t really do is set the edge. Having said that Landry and Rivers coming off the edge on 3rd down is rather appealing.

Hmm interesting. I heard Mike Lombardi on a pod say RE: Landry (#8):

"you go back and watch his 17 (sic - meant 16) tape he sets the edge of the defense - he's a power player - he can turn speed to power - he's one of the few edge guys that can really dominate at the position..."

That being said I watched a bit of the Clemson 16 game and the Notre Dame 17 game. The power is there - I saw a few plays where he was double teamed by the LT and LG who both just went in the top 10 from ND and didn't get thrown out of the club, so to say. But, as you probably observed, there were also plenty of times he'd get either way too far inside or upfield and leave a lot of room for a guy like Watson or the Wimbush to break very long runs.

I love how they keep experimenting with the opening Goodell speech by placing hall of famers, kids in wheelchairs, etc to keep the Boo Birds at bay... and it never works lol!

Interesting observing the OL guys starting to fly off the board and the commentary yesterday that the Pats could have traded back and still landed Wynn at 31. This suggests perhaps not.

Well looks like BB was right about Michel at 31. I think the Browns take him instead of Chubb if he would have still been on the board
