Draft Rumors

Does anyone think Miami is a strong wild card to take a QB if someone like Rosen slids or even through a small trade up (They are drafting #11) ? Or even reaching for Lamar Jackson?

I havent seen any mock with Miami picking a QB but for me it's pretty clear Tanehill is not the answer.

Also, LONGGGG shot but with Tampa drafting at #7, if I'm Tampa I would try to trade that bum Winston and get a lower 1st or who knows what kind of package and redirect that ship. They can get a haul of picks in a scenario like this.

Jumping us for Lamar perhaps?

Just did a mock draft where Rosen fell to 21 would never happen but we can dream.
Here's my final mock wishes Taven Bryan Harold Landry then Mason Rudolph in the second.

Then watch defenders fall And come back up for Rudolph or Lauletta.
For good measure grab Falk in the 5th.

I think Lamar goes to Arizona at 15 or Baltimore at 16. NE is going to have to move up quite a bit if they want him.

What about Rosen, particularly if the Giants don’t go Darnold? Cle - mayfield, Jets - Darnold, Bills - Allen. Still leaves Rosen and Jackson. I don’t know if both Cards and Ravens go QB although it is possible.

Josh Allen apparently is not a fan of Lebron, which could be a problem if he ends up in Cleveland lol.

Josh Allen’s offensive high school tweets unearthed

There's a whole generation of teenage edgelords out there who are in for a world of hurt down the road.

Young dumbasses are an age-old phenomenon, but now that stage of life is lived out in public, and searchable. The delete button is your friend, kids. Use it early and often (preferably before you hit send).

In that scenario, someone will trade into the top 10 for Rosen (hopefully us). IMHO, Rosen at 8-10 is very reasonable value.

There are many teams in the situation of the patriots and ravens, who would like to train up an understudy to their QB (NYG, SD, and even MIA).

Advice that worked for me here...particularly when we had the politics forum. I’d have been banned in a heartbeat if I didn’t follow that advice.

As the wayback machine grows in scope and efficiency, your last sentence is all the more relevant. Yet we know that the more we tell them, the more they'll do precisely what we tell them not to do.

I just wonder at what point do we collectively become saturated and then fed up with this much invasion of privacy, and return to a sense of normalcy. Knowing the extreme innards of another life neither enriches or profits us in any sort of way.

Personally, I wouldn't take a qb in the 1st round. We have plenty of other needs...let's get more athletic on D, LB, CB, DE, get another LT. Take a qb in round 2 or 3. Just my two cents

I’m in the minority here, but I don’t see a need for QB in this draft.

But then you don’t know what conversations have been had with Brady. If 2019 is his last season, there’s very much a need this year or next.

I’m going with what his agent said that he’ll play for a while.

Maybe but I tend not to put a lot of faith in athletes and agents talking about retirement. I’ll feel a lot better if they don’t take a first round QB and significantly more concerned if they trade up significantly for a QB.

Hope Bill doesnt sit on his hands.
On tbe other hand the evil genius could laugh as premier defenders continue to fall to him.
Smart money says sit tight and make 4 strong picks and only move up or down if it’s an overwhelming advantage trade.
