Would the Patriots have any room for him? Seems like we have a pretty heavy battle in camp already. Genuine question - I never watch the guy anymore, but with the "he's cooked" consensus, Im wondering if he's worth it. Though it'd be an interesting dynamic to have him and Matthews both in prove-it positions, they might fuel each other.

That, of course, is insanely arbitrary speculation so I understand that's a pretty weak reason to test him out.

As an interesting aside, the Patriots made the right choice in 2010 in McCourty.

This aides the Patriots. With Dez or according to Shefter...Dev, the cowboys need a WR which means defensive players like Vander Esch and Evans could fall to us.
