Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi was as emotional as he’s ever been after tonight’s victory, and he had a word for all the team’s ex-foes coming out of the woodwork to question prior victories.

“Hey, I got something to say to all the players in the league who wanted to comment on this,” Bruschi said. “If you’re on past teams . . . I saw some of the players, and what they were saying. If you’re on past teams, and you got doubts (about us), if you got all these hypotheticals, well, I’ve got a hypothetical for you. Let’s get all the players that played with us and bring them back here. And let’s get all the players that you had on your teams and bring them back here. And let’s play again. We would win again. Period.”

That's great, because I didn't see him during the game.

Teddy is a great team leader. I like his emotion at times like this. But yes, he is no longer much of a factor on defense. He was invisible last night.

After watching the game for a second time, it appears that Tedy was allowing himself to be picked up by a double team in order to free up another linebacker. He had 4 tackles, not a huge number, but overall a good performance.

1 tackle, 3 assists.

Look, I love TB and proudly state he has been a backbone to the Pats for over a decade.

But WHY would any team double team him with the other personnel we have out there? In 2007, he would be the least of my OL's worries.

You are wrong MG..I was there and I zero'd in on Bruschi a number of times.

LAst night was his best game since returing from the stroke.

He was everywhere....he was a monster, taking on double teams and blockers left and right.

At one point, I remember Lo Neal blasting him and Tedy shedded him to assist on Tomlinson. Neal is probably the best lead blocker in the NFL.

He's certainly not done.

Oh, I certainly don't think he's done.

But I also certainly hope all our future opponents make the same mistake that the Chargers did last night and key on Tedy instead of some of our other monsters.
