Re: How much of a b**** is Phillip Rivers?

Your quarterback was drafted in the 6th round and he was a backup at Michigan. Rivers is better than Brady, as evidence by his stats last season and the fact that he was the first quarterback to win 14 games in his first year as a starter. In a few years people will forget all about your cheating quarterback and everyone will be praising Rivers and the Chargers dynasty.

you know who else was a backup part of his college carrer and was drafted late?

Joe Montana

You are smoking too much wacky weed there chumly.

As for Brady being a 6th round pick, so what. Adalius Thomas was a 6th round pick also. Both are better players than Rivers is.

As a Charger fan, I would think you'd be more intelligent than to imply that the ROUND a player is taken really has any MAJOR significance. Or do you need to be reminded of Ryan Leaf.

As for your other idiocy, Brady never cheated. In fact, the Pats didn't cheat. They didn't even use the tape that was taken. They broke a rule. Only imbeciles think that it was cheating.

As for the Charger "dynasty," they need to win a play-off game to be taken seriously.

Actually, Brady and Rivers both went 14-3 in their first year as a starting QB. Of course, Brady didn't have the help of anybody like LT or Gates, who are both the very best in the league at their respective positions. I'd even go so far as to say that LT may be the best RB of all time. I think he's a classless whiny crybaby but as far as talent goes, he's unparalleled. I tend to view him as a cross between Emmit Smith and Barry Sanders. He's got the quickness and jukability of Barry with the toughness and discipline of Emmit, which means he's always running forward and not losing yards dancing like Barry did.

You know these two might have more in common than you realize. For example, both of their seasons ended with tears flowing down their faces. Of course, Brady's tears were tears of joy after winning the Super Bowl while Rivers' tears were just ordinary crybaby tears. I guess they're not that similar after all.

Everyone wants to know what it feels like to be a Patriots fan. Unfortunately, for you and the other wannabees...The NFL already its true dynasty.

I'm afraid your legacy has already been written. You guys will be remembered as the team that fired your head coach following a 14-2 season that ended prematurely at home against the great New England Dynasty and then never sniffed that many wins again.

Sadly, you'll also be remembered for all the crying and trash talking your players did after that loss and then how you came to Foxboro for a Sunday Night Game the next season and got your @$$e$ completely handed to you, 38-14 in a game that wasn't even that close.

In essence your team is really nothing more than a supporting character in the story of the New England Patriots. The Unlikely Champions that went on to win more Super Bowls than any other to become the Greatest Dynasty the NFL has ever known.

Thanks for stopping by.

At least Rivers never has to hear for eternity about all the games his team won being tainted...

Forever there will be an asterisk in people's minds about those super bowl wins, just like Barry Bond's home run record.

Just remember that's never going to go away. Now THAT must really be a b****.

yeah, every game the pats won is tainted lol. what a joke. take your loss like a man chargers fans, you got your ass kicked. this is a win that will never be tainted. and i would rather have my teams super bowl titles have an * next to em, then root for a team that does not have any super bowl wins at all

Not really. Having 5 or more Lombardi trophies will be more than enough to ease the pain, I'm quite sure. Now, back under your bridge.

Re: How much of a b**** is Phillip Rivers?

oh wait one more thing...

38-14. hows that for playing fair?

Who knows that you played fair this time either? They are still looking into BB's possible use of radio frequencies to cheat.

Re: How much of a b**** is Phillip Rivers?

LOL not for this game they arnt.

Not yet. BB has shown that he doesn't care about following the rules. All of a sudden he's going to change now? Yeah right.

Are they also looking for the crying towels for all the Chargers and their fans?

think what you want. if it makes you feel better about this loss to post that they are cheaters then do it. but the score will forever read 38-14 patriots

No, it will read 38-14*.

Re: How much of a B!TCH is Phillip Rivers?

Kobe flops? I live in Cali and watch every Laker game and Kobe doesn't flop. He's actually a good defender and probably the toughest basketball player in the game. He may complain because he sucks (and they do suck) but he competes like no other. No question the best basketball player in the world.
Artest, Ben Wallace there are many tougher bball players than kobe, heck ever nate the great robinson is tougher.

Its only "tainted" to imbeciles who don't understand that there is a difference between breaking the rules and cheating. To people with half a brain cell or more, they understand the difference.

You clearly don't.

I guess that's the difference between Patriots fans and everyone else. You all have asterisks in your heads, we have brains.

Ok Roger Goddell. You can put 5 zillion *, still goes down in the books as a win, um actually an ass whippin is more appropriate

OH, BTW, I'll take the opinions of a Mike Martz, Mike Shanahan, Dan Reeves, and Jimmy Johnson over some nobody like yourself. Even over imbeciles like Chris Collinsworth, Jerome Bettis, and Tom Jackson. Guys who have shown their hatred for the Pats... Especially that moron Tom Jackson. I can't believe he still has a job.

That is such a farce. The LEAGUE controls the frequencies handed out. If their is an issue, its their issue, not the Pats issue.

Mangini is grasping at straws because he doesn't want people to think that he is a lousy coach or that the Jets just stink.

Re: How much of a b**** is Phillip Rivers?

No, it won't have an asterisk. Just like the SBs titles don't have asterisks next to them.

Sanvara - just leave. Go to bed so that you can get up in the morning and go get yourself an education so you not so damn stupid anymore. Its really a waste of taxpayer money for you to sit here and spew this stupity the way you do.
