Going into his 14th NFL season at age 37.

In 2016, with NOL, he caught 74/110 tgts (67%) for 825 yds and 6 TDs.
In 2017, with BAL, he caught 61/79 (77%) for 522 yds and 4 TDs.

We should have brought him back and cut Allen.

Yeah, they aren’t getting two first round picks. As a matter of fact, when was the last time ANY player brought back two first round picks?

Kinda feel bad about joking around with the Boykin situation now that more details have come out.

What a dumbass. I hope he receives a proper jail/prison sentence. Scumbag.

Don't sweat it. Outside of being smart with regards to time/place/manner, nothing should be off limits for commentary or comedy.

I don't know the last time. I believe that NFLN analysis thought that this was reasonable, and that this has happened 4 or 5 times in the past. The issue is his outrageous contract demands.

Put it another way. If he had 3 years left on his contract and was willing to play, what would he be worth? I believe that the rams or another playoff quality team would jump at the opportunity.

That being said, the giants should allow his agent to negotiate with other teams and bring back the offers. The team would then be getting an all-pro player with a new contract ready to be signed. And yes, I think that the rams are a top candidate.

Besides, 2 firsts is a public negotiating position. They might take less. They might take a first this year and a first next. Lots is possible if a new contract can be worked out with another team, AND the giants are willing to trade.

Two firsts? Why of course, Joey Galloway!! That's right Seattle got two first round picks from the Cowboys for Joey Galloway

Sure, that’s the example that comes to mind, but wasn’t it back in the early 2000s? In other words, it’s been very infrequent over the past 15-20 years.

It seems to me that teams trading two first-rounder picks to move up in the first round to take a rookie prospect (QB) may have been more frequent than two firsts for an established NFL player.

Jeez, he's really fallen a long way in 2 years after a solid first four seasons.
Yep. I think the other WR the Ravens worked out fits into that category as well, although with a smaller sample size.

Willie Snead had a couple of real nice seasons with the Saints.
