Curry's sack totals don't look really gaudy. 3.0, 2.5 and 3.5 the last three years. Is it a case of stats underrating him?

I’d rather have Curry than Clayborn. Both 6’3 280 pound pass rushers than set the edge & stop the run. One is healthy; one AIN’T. One will likely be cheaper; one WON’T.

Curry's base salary for next year was $9m,(and his base for '19 $9.25m) and the team trading for him would have only been on the hook for the base salary. Eagles obviously would have taken anything as they ended up cutting him.


So Curry's market won't be close to $9m or a team would have thrown a 6th round pick at the Eagles to get him.

Curry gets limited snaps because of the way the Eagles run their D-line. he always seems to be around the QB, from what I saw.

I hope the Pats get one or the other. Be nice to have a vet presence on that line (want Harrison back, too!) with all the youth.

Interesting that the Pats are taking visits from OT while Fleming and Waddle remain unsigned (and "unrumored"). Beginning to wonder if I overestimated their market value.

Agreed. I’m assuming Clayborn could be looking for more coin due to the fact he’s coming off of a “10 sack season.” Curry is coming off of a 3.5 sack season, so I’m thinking other teams could use that against him.
