To spare you the ESPN click, the rest of the story says, "...didn't believe the injury to be serious, that he could still walk on it. He never said it was an issue through high school, college, or while with the Redskins."

quite a surprise . and not even a slot . moving on from Mr.Rowe?

The guy has played like 6 games in 2 years.
He isn’t replacing anyone he would be brought to camp as a long shot who might be able to get healthy and return to form.

One note @Breaux - he will not count against comp picks since he was not tendered.

Lol! Yep sounds like amputation could be an option. Ridiculous.

I think Ted Karras would start on many teams right now.

IMHO, Karras and Croston should be considered players with potential. The argument was that we didn't have such players.

People laughed at the idea of Josh Kline, and he was Pro Football Talk’s #52nd rated free agent on their top 100 list, this year.

I think Karras is a fine choice for backup guard, with potential to start.

Meh, they laughed when I said that David Andrews was the future at Center, too.

I'm no football guru, admittedly. But watching Karras showed me a bunch of attitude and sheer power. I'm glad he's on the team, and unless they find a steal in the next draft, I expect him to be a starter when Mason or Thuney move on.

And if I had a team weak in interior line, I'd be calling hte Pats about him - and they'd be saying no.

I’d rather have Curry than Clayborn. Both 6’3 280 pound pass rushers than set the edge & stop the run. One is healthy; one AIN’T. One will likely be cheaper; one WON’T.

Curry’s also a much better athlete.
