Well he just said recently he would like to stay if business works out. Must be a big ****ing paycheck. Anything else would just imply no interest from Pats at all.

Maybe they're paying Amendola to help "change the culture".

Isn't Suh technically still under contract? The Dolphins are cutting him tomorrow I thought, so wouldn't other teams be unable to talk to him at this moment?

"Legal tampering" period at the moment.

Keenum has a better 2017. Cousins is enormously overrated.

Their 2017 statistics were very similar, almost exactly the same yards per attempt. Keenum had a better supporting cast too. Cousins had a higher touchdown rate but also a higher interception rate. But up until last year, Keenum hadn't done a damn thing in the league while Cousins has had three straight seasons with 4,000+ yards, 25 or more TDs, and 13 or fewer INTs. Cousins also had a terrible offensive line last year and took over 40 sacks after taking around 20 the two previous years.

I don't think Kirk Cousins is a worldbeater by any standard but I do think he's likely to be better than Keenum in the long run. Frankly, I think the Vikings would have been better off keeping Bridgewater on the cheap than going after any of the expensive players on the carousel.

I have this paranoia that this will end up being an offseason full of questionable moves, letting players go without finding replacements.

Hopefully we make some big moves.

You can tamper with a player even if he is not officially released yet?

It's actually not tampering if the other teams grants permission.

The 'Fins were reportedly considering releasing Suh. If the Pats are willing to trade for him, contingent upon Suh formally agreeing to a new contract in advance, the 'Fins might grant the Pats permission to negotiate, in the hope of getting at least something for Suh.

I wonder what Delvin Breaux will go for. Assuming medicals are ok, might have a chance at value there. B.B. loves his injury values, and a young corner with good size that B.B. practiced against in 2016 might be a target for incentive laden deal... assuming he liked what he saw in those practices.

While the anti-tampering policy doesn't cover this, I'm guessing that the Dolphins informing him of their intention to release him tomorrow would make it difficult to prove harm from tampering.

I now want BB to let all of Solder/Lewis/Amendola go and focus all the cap space on defense.

Solid pick up.

But wouldn't other teams be able to claim tampering arguing that because of team X tampering they didn't have a fair chance? Just curious about how the ruling would be for players that are bound to be released but are on paper still under contract.

And many hear want you to finally shut the fuxk up. But unfortunately it seems like no one will get what they want.

statistically similar?
67.6 to 64.3 completions %
22/7 to 27/13 TD/int rate
11 wins to 7

People are all impressed with cousins throwing for a lot of yards while losing more than he wins as he has over his career but I’m not. He has a lot to prove to show me he can win.

Keenum also has a lot to prove to show it wasn’t a fluky year but he was a beast in college and before last year only played on horrendous teams and wasn’t all that bad.
If he “got it” in 2017 and his pkay in 2017 is what he builds on the bar to be better than cousins isn’t as high as people make it seem.
