I'd take Solder for $13M.
Sign him to a vet min deal.Again, what does it mean to "kick the tires" on Hali? Like, sign him to a contract and see if it works out? Bring him in for a tryout?
With the current bidding frenzy for Solder, I think its safe to say that unless he wants to take 3-4 mill less here a year, he's gone. The amount of money being discussed for Solder almost makes me want Cannon at LT. I know he wasn't great when he filled at LT in the past but Cannon now is a lot different than Cannon of a few years ago. I think he could be a good LT now that he's developed and he's under contract at a great price through 2022.
Just spend the money on defense if Solder $ gets out of hand.
I'm hoping everyone who calls on him have their limits as well. With the current bidding frenzy for Solder, I think its safe to say that unless he wants to take 3-4 mill less here a year, he's gone.

It’s slightly crazy that we’re talking about the Patriots potentially offering Solder the highest yearly average of all NFL offensive linemen and that still not being enough money.
