If the browns end up taking Barkley and if dion ends up leaving I wonder if Cleveland would be receptive of taking that pick back for duke Johnson.

I like McKinnon as well. Not sure how much he’s asking for in FA. I mentioned duke because his skill set is Taylor made for our offense and he’s still under his rookie deal.

We can postulate away but the Hoodie Handbook probably dictates the trading of that pick

Burkhead seems to be a banana. Not sure bb wants to bring back a guy that spends so much of the season in the trainers room.

Running back is a young man’s position. I see bb going the draft route. Especially if the running back does not fumble much.

Could be both Burkhead and a draft pick.

...more impertinency on behalf of Da Burkmeister, I see.....this is your final admonishment...

Decent rushing/receiving stats. 10 TDs in three seasons. Cheap.
Some PR experience, though not particularly effective.

Fumbles a lot ... once every 67 touches.

Most of Burkhead's injury time was due to bruised (cracked?) ribs. Not likely to be a chronic thing like a knee.

The knee injury he incurred late in the season seems likely to have been very minor, since he looked fine in the SB.

Anyway, BB has rarely gone "the draft route" since Maroney in 2007. Only three since then.

Johnson is too valuable to their offense and at times was the only bright spot. I dont see how starting off with all totally new RBs helps the Browns. Besides, I believe they will take a QB @ 1 and a DT to replace Shelton @ 4 and Dorsey will find a RB late in a deep draft.

Rule #1 as a Pats fan, don’t fall in love w a running back, any running back.

But damn I’ll miss Lewis.
Yes, I think the only running back Belichick might go out of his way to keep would be Jim Brown in his prime.

"Jim's been good for us and I know he'll be a good runningback on any team in this league, any team that he goes to. Our people and his people, that's the business side, but from a football point of view, just a very, very solid football player, he can do whatever you ask him to. But we're on to 2018..."
