Due to schooling ( engineering), work, and even more stinkin kids on the way, I am going to be off the board until Christmas. This has been an exhausting and interesting season.

Remember, for as much as we wish they had won all eight SB's, they could've lost all eight too. 5-3 sounds about right. Sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose. They've accomplished more in four seasons then most franchises accomplish in fourty years ( or histoty).

Long live the Patriots!!

Having young kids:

Does it help or hurt the time available for posting on Patsfans?

I can see arguments for both sides. I have personally learned to hold a baby while scrolling and clicking through some threads. I may not have otherwise been on the computer.

have at ask our favorite moderator @Ross12 , but I'd think it would hurt it, especially if they are young...only guessing though. lol

We've actually been to 10 superbowls, and are 5-5 overall. You do realize the Pats have been around long before Brady and BB, right? o_O

You call yourself a fan?

depends on the spouse

Are there people in the world who are so self absorbed that they feel the need to announce to a bunch of people they dont know, who really don't give a schit about them, (in a separate thread) that they are going to be taking a break from an anonymous internet message board they have been posting on?

Ehh.... There are some posters who are more significant in that aspect than others. PJ was certainly missed when he took time off, for example.

Agreed, there are posters here that are the heart and soul of the forum and actually a FYI might be good if they were to take a break. In other cases it could be someone who may think they matter, but dont.

I was just trying to generalize so that I was not singling anyone out here. I would not want to be accused of hurting anyone's feelings, particularly on the new kinder, gentler patsfans.com

Side note:
The kinder, gentler thing that you're pointing out has not been a good decision, IMO, but that's above my pay grade.

We need to have a conference to discuss things in person.
