Can we criticize the defense now? Is that allowed?

Defense was atrocious but the offense left 10+ points on the field in the first half. They needed to score more points when the opportunities were there and they didn't. Philly, otoh, did.

This was not the Patriots year. The defense was abysmal. Many of us have been saying it. The offense just hid how bad they were.

I am so glad Patricia's out of here and we'll get some new blood at Defensive Coordinator. His defenses have always been middle-of-the-pack or worse (29th in the league this year!), but nobody notices because the offense wins in spite of them.

You can't lug in a bunch of guys off the waiver wire and expect success, and the guys you draft like Roberts are just lost out there.

What can be expected from the LBs really? Bademosi? Richards?

"mean" "nasty" and "aggressive" are words that cost money on a defense. BB can only stretch his resources so far, we can't have the best offense and the best defense every year.

It's never been about criticizing the defense, it's been about the chicken littles who give up on the team in the 1st quarter because the opposing team goes up seven points.
