Lol!!!

Bb whiffed on that one but he made up for it with the wise, butler and lee haul, not to mention the steelers gift of harrison.
Yeah, I was one of those who vouched for Marsh. I liked the toughness & grit he brought over from Seattle and thought it would carry over. I also thought he’d develop more as a nickel pass rusher over time. I had no idea he’d be a complete liability against the run. I can’t lie; the black “Chris Long-like” face paint & tattoos kinda sold me a bit too

On the plus side getting Marquis flowers for a 7th round pick looks pretty good right now.
Is M. Flowers our new less-talented Jamie Collins?
Both 6’3 250lbs, 4.5 speed, 37.5 vertical, can cover RBs, rush the passer in a pinch, & spy the QB. Converted safety.
Minus the freelancing

IMO Flowers is hopefully another Mike Vrabel undervalued by another team and given a chance to bloom in a different environment.

Vrabel had zero starts in 4 years in Pittsburgh, while Flowers had 3 starts in 4 years with the Bengals.

Maybe the Pats like playing the AFC North disrespected you card.

Flowers is smaller than 250. He MIGHT be 240. He has been listed at 230, but he's likely a bit heavier than that.

It's the same role BB wanted from a Grugier-Hill type. McClellin, same deal. Go look at photos of McClellin in Chicago and then look at what he looked like in 2016. He easily shed about 20 lbs for the role.

I think BB told him to lose weight and told him he'd be a Big Nickel guy in conjunction with what Chung does.

Basically, people are trying to get Kam Chancellor types on their team.

Yep.

I think BB was concerned about McCellin's concussion out of camp/preseason.

McClellin's career may be over, and who knows, maybe they like Flowers enough to quietly give him an extension.

A slow sports Monday as the current top story at CBS Sportsline is Gronk unlikely to take part in sports media night.

That's an OLB/DE heritage that runs through Nink, too.

Name another team that takes more chances and is more successful.
Taking chances on UDFAs & Street FAs? No problem.

Taking chances on crap who haven't done jack sh!t in 3 years, and using one of the teams precious few draft picks to confirm that fact? Problem.
