Sure you can. The Patriot Way is not about Tom Brady. The Patriot Way is about finding ways to make the whole greater than the sum of its parts. That involves scouting coaching and hard work and dedication to the fundamentals. You could have that portion of the Patriots way no matter who your quarterback is and it will make your team better than it was.

Do you have a specific example? Because, as far as I can tell, his team just had the defending Super Bowl champions and current Super Bowl representative on the ropes, on the road, with Blake Bortles starting at quarterback. This was a week after the same team went into Pittsburgh and knocked off the Steelers on the road. Marrone is no Belichick (nobody is), but he's still a good coach.

The guy really analyzes everything he says. At least..he has when I've watched him. I'd be shocked if he isn't offered a high paying job with a big time network after retirement.

It should be noted that he's also had alot of demons in his life. From the Darrent Williams situation to borderline personality disorder. He's been open about his past and mistakes he made.

Seems he lost focus over a single (correct) call which impacted him and his team the rest of the game. Not saying he's not a "good" coach, but when the standard is to win championships, the definition of a "good" coach changes. Marv Lewis is a "good" coach.

I agree.

You won't get Brady or BB, but you can at least, approach all the teambuilding concepts the same and draft players who are selfless, versatile and have high IQs, who can be coachable.

I can't name one other franchise that puts a priority on those adjectives. Not one.

I would say that despite being a very good extemporaneous speaker, and obviously having some intelligence, Marshall is one guy I never, ever, ever need to see again doing a talk show. You can see his mental wheels turning, trying to figure out what take will get him the most attention.

I don't agree. I thought it was really arrogant almost like they felt they were in control of the game and it was over.

At least run a few plays to try to get a first down. Be careful, but run the plays and force NE to take their timeouts, too.

Maybe two power runs off tackle and a playaction on 3rd and short? I don't know. It reeked of them being scared or arrogant, I can't figure out which.

I don't think it matters at all. Best talent doesn't win games. Best teams do. That's what BB believes too. He'll find players with a heart and urge to compete. A group of men like that working together is what makes a competetive team.

Imagine putting Odell Beckham Jr., Dez Bryant, Ezekeil Elliott on one team.

Add: LeVeon Bell and Antonio Brown too. It makes a scary team on paper but I seriosuly doubt they can hold it together to win a SB

Bortles played a great game - Jax had every chance to win, in New England, after pummeling Pittsburgh.

They should have actually stuck with Grant. It's mind boggling that they didn't get him more involved. He was killing the Pats and they certainly didn't seem to expect him. That's something else you can pin on Marrone if you were so inclined.

The Pats were taking that stuff away by playing some zone to force them to run the ball more, where they then bottled that up, too.

On Bortles as well. He finished with -1 yard rushing, I believe.

Lots of zone blitzing is what I saw the adjustments to be, making Bortles think faster than he wanted to.
