We're On To The Eagles

I believe the Patriots should win. They just beat a better team ( imo) than Philly. That said, they'll outnumber Pats fans like SB 39. This is going to be a borderline road game.

Hopefully the Viking's fans treat the Philly fans the same way they were treated in Philly. Philly fans are an embarrassment!

That's why there won't be any Patriots fans at the game. They won't want to put up with Eagles fans.

So, what are philly's weakness' I cant take 2 weeks of "Philly is unstoppable!" hand wringing. I havent watched many games, but how did Atlanta hold them to 15 points.

Awful, awful. I know it’s not all Eagles fans but shame on those there not stopping that ****, then more of them join in.

Pathetic. I don’t mind their actual team, but what trash.

I have been to several Eagles games and they are rough affairs. Anybody that goes to one of those games wearing an opposing jersey is really taking their life in their hands - that is true for men, women and children. I have seen beer thrown at women, children cursed at and men spit on by 30-40 people.

Oh yeah, this was all in preseason games.

Nick Foles probably won't play the game of his life again and will turn back into a pumpkin. Other than that, they're a very good team on both sides of the ball. All comes down to Foles though. Vikings had pretty much everything go wrong after the first score. Pick six, 3 and outs, long touchdowns on busted coverages...

Vikings looked like they were hungover from their win last week...

Their quarterback.

I don't know if I buy that, honestly. They marched down the field and went up 7-0 and then forced a 3 and out on defense. After that, they almost played as if a Super Bowl berth was their birthright since they would be the home team. Those semi-busted coverages were not like the Vikings defense that we had seen all year. I think it came down to simply them getting out-coached.

They did lose xaviar Rhodes too....it seems after he went out the eagles could do anything they wanted.

Team just looked Totally different than the one who nearly shut down drew brees. and they let Nick Foles look like an all pro

That INT changed the game and the strip sack kinda ended it. I was shocked they did not put Bradford in.

The Vikings lost Rhodes and Sendejo, half of their secondary. Which is (was) the strength of their defense. Foles was outstanding, I don't think he missed a throw all night. Of course, its a lot easier to play with the lead, as we saw last night with Bortles, once the game gets tighter, it gets a lot harder to make those plays.

Yeah, the loss of Rhodes cannot be understated. He effectively cuts off the field and rarely requires safety help on deeper routes.

Foles took a nasty shot to the ribs and claimed to be okay afterwards but it bears watching. With Wentz out, their backup is Nate Sudfeld, a very green QB who took maybe 10 snaps all season, mostly kneel downs....

And this is news to people????? At the old Veteran's stadium, in the upper level ( the '700s') there were better fights and mortal combat than on the field when Dallas or the Giants came to town.......

No, they only need 3. “Pats Oline terrible.”

Rhodes was a massive loss and by the time he was back on the field it was out of reach. Compounding that was the offense's inability to sustain drives, so the defense was running on fumes and giving up huge plays. Keenum picked the wrong time to remember he was Case Keenum all along and spent the whole game comically throwing off his back foot, even when there was no pressure to be seen.

It was pretty much a perfect storm. The Eagles controlled the game. This was a defense that only allowed third down conversions on a quarter of plays all year and allowed three quarters in this game. It's a recipe for a blowout like that. But every football game is its own monster, and it remains to be seen if we'll see the Nick Foles of last night or the Nick Foles who got shut out by the Cowboys and was so bad they put in Nate Sudfeld in the second half. I would be more willing to bet on the latter, but the Patriots will still have their work cut out for them against a good defense.

This is a real tough matchup for us, Pederson is right outta Andy Reid’s nest. Confident we’ll win but, people aren’t giving Philly enough credit. They match up with us really well on both sides of the ball. Fortunately for us, we have the GOAT QB, coach and hopefully tight end. We’ll win it but, it’ll be another classic.

I think the Super Bowl will be a game that follows the same scripts as the Jags game did. Their defense will keep them in it but Belichick will eventually figure out what they're doing on offense, put the clamps on, and the defense will get gassed by the 4th quarter.

pitchers and catchers report soon
I think you need to let things go...play with your kids, take your wife out on a date...or go research your 2018 fantasy football team, go try on another pair of patriots footy pajamas....it's not healthy to obsess over people you don't know and never will know and what said people post on internet message boards..let it go...go pats

Vikings are a different team away from their stadium. I don’t think they are as bad as the score indicated last night.
