OT: Salty Jags Fans

yeah - they are super salty. I'm actually posting a bit over there and even when I congratulated them on how well their team played and gave them props, I was immediately labeled an ******* and prick.

They are super mad and the week before, they kept telling me to "just wait" and watch how Brady east sacked a million times and turns into a crybaby. Thought I spotted a couple crybabies in the game... but they were Jags.

The fanbase of the losing team blaming the refs for their defeat? That's such an unusual concept.

I'll cut them slack, with our success we're an easily hatable team. I'm sure they're thinking "c'mon man, do you really need a 6th. Can't we just have one?"

I'd be devastated too if we lost a key playoff game in which victory was looking likely.

Ok, I've watched that run about 5x on nfl.com, and there's nothing remotely looking like a hold on that play. What the heck are they talking about?
Some genius got a freeze frame:

Which poorly shows what actually happened. The Jags player was only trying to sell a hold there.

Also, apparently they've been lurking on here as well. One of them brought up the fact that most of us were having meltdowns and were not confident at all in our team. They keep saying that they are the better team and we don't deserve to be in the Superbowl. Some dummy went as far to say the best teams in the AFC are the Jags and Chargers. LMAO .... yeah, they are really butthurt man.

So let’s see, Bouye is mad he got called for PI (which was some of the most egregious PI I’ve seen in a while) because... he didn’t get called on it that much in the regular season? So if I get into 3 really minor fender benders over a couple years’ time and no one calls the cops then I get to be mad the cops show up when I drive my car through a building? That just makes no sense.

Oh, and Amendola apparently head butted someone and they felt it should’ve been flagged. Yeah they’ll throw that flag right after they call the one player for taunting White and slapping him in the head.

Typical. I respect what Marrone has done with the team but I don’t respect some of the players. It’s always the officials, these whiny players can’t just own their own mistakes.

There were a bunch of Jags fans in Gillette today. Two in front of us paid $700 each for tix on Stub Hub and came up from Florida. Two others to my right were idiots -- one had colored his beard teal, the other one INSISTED Gronk was hit by a shoulder and not helmet to helmet. Both those morons left early.

Same ole excuses for this embarrassing loss. Funny how he didn't want a call for the guy pushing all over White then slapping his helmet after that first TD.
If the standards Bouye wanted applied to the Patriots was applied to the Jags it would've tripled their penalty totals. The refs calling things loose benefited the Jags.

Despite playing real physical downfield against receivers they had to commit 3 blatant 'have to call them' penalties. Without them all those penalty yards and likely more probably turn into offensive yards and the Patriots have Gronk all game.

God forbid the refs don't reward you for committing blatant infractions by applying a different standard to your opponent and evening things up. I sure hope the Jags sink.

These jag fans are real sick puppies

Here's the so-called hold on Allen.

I guess I wouldn't have argued too much if they had called it. Hard to tell for sure.

According to r/Patriots, the Pats were 9-0 when Nantz/Romo called their games this season/playoffs, and they've now won 24 CBS broadcasts in a row. This just adds to the conspiracy.

While it is true that the officials should not decide the outcome of a sporting event, a free-for-all is not in order either.

It doesn't matter how the Patriots win, the same idiots will find something to ***** and moan about. These people live in their own fantasy world where the Pats, league, and TV networks conspire to fix games.
