Does anyone else feel like we're losing this one?

I feel like the stars are all aligned for the NFL to pull a " story line" stunt, Clete as ref, the Jags with Coughlin, a **** QB with a stellar D, this one feels like its a loss.
Nothing that elaborate, but the hand injury to Brady concerns me enough where I don't feel overly confident heading into this one.

If you are worried now, you must have been a mess halfway through the third quarter of the last super bowl. To be honest, I had a pretty bad feeling then.

Weird. I feel the opposite. Bill Belichick. Tom Brady. A good D. Feels like a win to me.

Give it to me straight, am I just being a chicken little on this?

The whole nonsense with the Hand, the distraction, maybe I'm falling for the Media BS but man I've just had this feeling all week.

I am worried as I'm always worried about any playoff game ever since the Jets game in 2010.

But I think our defense balls out and we win a game along the lines of 24-17 with a late JAX TD to make it look closer than it was

Ehhh its the AFC Championship. I am sure I will be nervous come game time. But in my own humble opinion, I don't think the Jags are that great (good but not great), and I think the Patriots will control the game. I am sure it will be closer then we will like, but I think the Pats come out on top on this one. I don't think the whole Coughlin thing means anything to this game either.

Usual Good Pats Fans Poster move is to get really angry that ESPN would dare question the Patriots' dominance in the days up to the game, declare everyone is biased against them, and then just completely melt down in the game thread the first time a pass falls incomplete.

Exactly. After that game I am not sure what to feel anymore as a Pats fan..

I get you but I can’t get past the fact the Jax WAXED a pretty darned good Pitt Team. I can’t get past that....

Ill be straight: I'm very very worried right now. Mainly about Brady. If he's not playing, the D would need to have the game of a lifetime. They'd need multiple pick sixes. They haven't had a pick six in over four years.

In short, I have zero confidence in Brian Hoyer. Even if they win, thumb injuries don't heal that quickly. Hoyer isn't beating anyone in the SB.

I understand why they had to trade Jimmy G. But know your about to see one reason why he shouldn't of been traded.

They didn’t wax ****. Waxing is [edited by Ian] what we gave Tebow and the Colts in the AFCCG

Just going to be tough. If Brady can't throw, it's obviously a problem. My guess is they'll shift to a short passing game because you can find a way to still throw those, even if they're a little wobbly. It's the intermediate touch passes and downfield throws that are tough, and my concern is guys getting separation on short routes for him to be able to hit them. My other concern are bad snaps/turnovers in their own end.

Otherwise, I'm just hoping they can keep Jacksonville backed up with a long field and win the field position battle and hold them to field goals if the Patriots struggle to move the ball. Ryan Allen has quietly played well all year, but he may actually end up being a big factor this weekend.

Hoyer is not as bad as you think. He is not great, and hopefully Brady is playing. But it is one game, I think the Pats could pull it off with Hoyer or less than 100% Brady for sure.
