This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
Prepare yourselves to hear that the Jaguars are tougher they have a younger more hungry QB and are the Cinderella story of the NFL. Everyone will root for them. oh well it is what it is. The o-line better come to play next week.
What a great weekend of football so far. Yes Patriots, No Falcons, No Steelers. The only downside is that there's nobody left standing who I'd actively root against!
LOL. How the hell do you give up 40 points to the Jaguars? Yeah they're good, but come on...this had Patriots/Steelers rematch written all over. What a disgraceful performance by the Steelers. All their guys are healthy, and they still got pounded. Tomlin is a garbage coach.
Oh man, I can't wait for another Monday meltdown by Nick Wright tomorrow. First his Chiefs lose, now his "the best team in the AFC" loses. Tomorrow is like a second Xmas.
If I was coaching Pitt, I would kick the FG with +- 1 m remaining, since they were decently close and try getting onside kick aftwards (which I would have practiced during bye week, just in case), then I'd try the TD.
We had a play when I was in high school.
We would have a guy facing the kicker standing next to the ball and dropping his hands like a go signal (I dint think anyone does that any more)
We would have him spin around and kick a 10-15 yard pop up toward the sidelines. The second man in(me) would pummel the guy, usually a lineman, it was kicked toward while the outside guy would catch it in the air.
Worked a few times.
He really should be, he made an incredible number of poor decisions today - both himself and Haley. Not to mention the clear lack of preparation for this week and focusing on NE before they even got there.
Eh, they gave up 44 to Jimmy G, and 42 to Big Ben. They didn't exactly play any great quarterbacks (other than Wilson) in the season. Even Mariota put up 37 against them. They're not as good as people think.
Also, we opened the preseason against them. It's only fitting that they end their postseason against us.
