They totally are. Look at all the TV shows, writers, etc.

If the Patriots were circa 1990 there is no way Felger, Smerlas, Holley, DeOssie, Zo, Blubber, Maz, Fauria would be unemployed, Big O would still be doing Celtics games and Curran and Reiss would still be writing for the Projo and MetroWest Daily news.
