We're On To The Titans

Found the Titans forum.

They were hoping for New England because “Pitt has more weapons”

Forgetting that:

A. We beat Pitt
B. We actually have more weapons (Gronk, Cooks, Lewis, White, Hogan, Dola, Brady’s comeback ability)
C. We had the number 1 offense in the NFL and the number 1 scoring defense...

It’s like other team fan bases hate us for no reason because they’re clearly not watching us.

I'll be the first to admit that I haven't watched much of Tennessee this year, but two things stuck out to me......

1.) I thought they were able to handle the adverse conditions (hostile playoff environment well). The Pats are playoffs vets and I kind of hoped that a team that is relatively playoff-inexperienced gets overwhelmed. It doesn't appear the Titans would fall into that trap.

2.) Despite being down big, the Titans stuck with their gameplan. Much of the Pats' defensive success has been getting out to an early lead and forcing teams to divert from their original gameplan and become one dimensional. Tennessee showed a good amount of patience in their comeback.

I still feel the Pats will win, but I have more respect for TEN after this weekend than I had previously.

Stop the run, keep Mariota in the pocket and force him to throw.

This is the easiest possible matchup the Pats could’ve received. Middle of the pack defense and an average to bad offense.

If you can’t beat these guys, at home after a bye, it’s a total choke job.

Welcome back Logan Ryan!

You didn't feel more comfortable in 2010 or 2007?
2010 would be fourth. 2007 had a bad feeling. Brady’s ankle, and then in the game, Neal getting hurt, the line forgetting how to block, Bill not kicking the 48 yard field goal... ugh. Also Woods should have been ruled down on that fumble. Patriots ball they win

I’d be surprised if the Titans stay within two scores.

Two weeks to prepare and get healthy. Pats offense much better than the Chiefs and KC dominated until Kelce got hurt. Pats may start slow and it may be a game for a while, but Pats win going away.

I am really confident, as much as I have been for any game this year.

Yeah, But I mean like when they were getting ready to play Jacksonville in the divisionals in 07. Or the AFCCG against San Diego with a hobbled Rivers.

Honestly, no. If it was the team in the first 10 weeks of the season, then for sure. But the pressure of going undefeated, and all the little injuries starting to pile up

Haven't been this confident

That won't stop the hawt taeks & GDT from erupting from this moment forward about how the Pats DL isn't generating sacks and how the "contain" method sucks.

I'm getting sick of it before it even begins.

I am not at all prepared for the Titans. I have been watching Chiefs gametape all week. I hope the Pats have not made the same mistake...

Pitt has:

1. Roethlisberger
2. Bell
3. Stevan Ridley backing up Bell
4. A rusty Antonio Brown
5. Bryant
6. Smith-Schuster, Eli Rogers
7. Jesse James

New England has:

1. Tom f***ing Brady
2. Dion Lewis
3. Burkhead and White behind Lewis
4. Cooks
5. A rusty Chris Hogan
6. Dorsett, Amendola, maybe a rusty Malcolm Mitchell too
7. Oh yeah - Rob Gronkowski

Then consider Pitt’s defense versus New England’s defense.

Who has more weapons again?

Doubt that.
