ESPN hitpiece on Patriots (Rift with Brady/Belichick/Kraft) - Merged

Think it paints Guerrero in a terrible light more than Brady, but it definitely makes Brady look blah.

Listen I love Brady the quarterback, but listening to Brady talk about his whole TB12 thing the last couple of years has become intolerable. To each there own but I hate brainwashed people that try to push their agenda. Regardless if it’s something like Workout/lifestyle (crossfiters) religion, politics. You name it. It’s annoying.

It definitely paints BB in a great light, But I didn’t need that article to know. If there is a rift between BB and TB I could see that causing a huge divide in the region.

I’m going with coach

The easiest reason to see the fraud of this article is that he uses “belichick’s friends” as a source.
Anyone who believes a friend of belichick would talk to this guy much less anyone in the media about belichick s personal thoughts and feelings is beyond naive.

"Knockout story"? "Incredible details"? It must have been a memo to all ESPN employees to promote the **** out of this drivel.

The person inside the room could be Brady's trainer, just saying. If this rift is true between Belichek, Brady and Kraft then I am with Belichek. Belichek has always been about the team, the other two aren't so much just sometimes.
When has brady ever not been about the team?

Seriously! I want to know what person working for the Patriots thinks they're the Browns now. Like has he seen any football, ever? At any point?

Having to find a new successor to the G.O.A.T., in an offseason after going 13-3 and being SB favorites, and just 2 offseasons after winning your second SB in 3 seasons, is EXACTLY like being the Browns!

They guy owns a business and is allowed to advertise it just like your buddy's garage door business (or whatever). It might be annoying because you're not into sports nutrition or fitness but to that audience/market it isn't "annoying".

Kind of like an ad for the new Pitch Perfect movie. It's not trying to sell itself to you. It's trying to sell itself to your 13 year old niece.

You mean the Browns who have gone 4-44 the last three seasons? For the record, the Patriots are 158-44 since 2005. So in the time it took both teams to lose 44 games, the Pats won 154 more games......

So Guerrero was the source of an article that paints him and Brady in a bad light?

How stupid are you?

See? Exactly the same. The fact that Tom Brady has more SB wins in his career than the Browns have regular season wins in their past 3 seasons just proves it!

Yawn.. you guys have taken the bait.. 22 pages.. seriously! lol

When I read about this a few weeks back I thought then what a steaming pile of crap.. today, nothings changed. I don't care for this reporting, I care about going the last twelve 11-1.. I don't need a soap opera crossover, leave that to the snowflakes that court this ****e. Onto..

Well, if the owner decides coach is no longer buying the groceries it all becomes very simple

If Belichick had been told he wasn’t in charge last spring they would have had a new coach by then. And even the Jets fans like you, and the Garrapolo fans know that. The moment Kraft breaks his deal with Belichick he is gone, and those claiming that happened have been saying we will know it’s true if Belichick steps down after the season.

What do you expect? We went to sleep in the greater Boston area, little realizing that we'd be waking up in Cleveland, Ohio.

I am not going to read the article because we all know ESPN is garbage. Also, I am I the only one sick of hearing about Jimmy G? I hope he has a great career but after a few wins, the media is ready to vote him into Canton.

My sources inside the Patriots deny that Robert Kraft gave Bill Belichick an ultimatum to trade Jimmy Garoppolo, and there was no "half day meeting". I was told Belichick approached RKK with 49ers offer, RRK asked BB if he liked the deal, BB said yes, deal was done.

Well I’m into sports nutrition and fitness.

But when I’ve read quotes from Brady that says “If Lebron worked out the way I do” tell me he’s brainwashed.

I know he’s trying to push his business and I get it, but theres more than one way to skin a cat.

And the one thing this “rift” all starts with Guerrero.

This article absolutely cries out for a Bill Belichick 100% disdain response.

I wouldn't do it. That's what the editors at ESPN want. A response drives more eyes to their website. Let them die.

That was one helluva storm

Does he mean "practice player of the week"? I thought that was given to players who help prepare for then next opponent, mostly practice squad players or backups who would act as a scout team. It wouldn't usually be a starter though there are exceptions. I don't think Gronk or Gilmore or Amendola ever won it either...
Earlier winners this year ( though RBs all of them won it one week)
Patriots name eight practice players of the week following win over Steelers

BB has never ever, and would never ever promote an individual player above the rest of the team. That goes counter to every philosophy or thought that he has had about the art of winning football.

As you mention, eight practice player awards are issued out every week, not one.

That alone should tell you how much of a sham this article is, and how much it's really just made up. It really is pure fiction. Unimaginable in these days and time, but that's the reality of corporate owned media.
