Division Round Opponent: Chiefs, Titans or Bills

Yup. Indy 2014 was indeed the CG, not the Divisional. My bad.

And, yes, the Pats have also had a lot of squeakers in the post-season, often before or after a blow-out, although I'm not sure what that has to to with my point.
Was just saying that they didn't have a laugher in the divisional that year, that's all

OT: Todd Haley is racked up. Rumor is he has a broken pelvis from a bad fall on ice.

Apparently, he was involved in some type of NYE altercation—possibly two different instances. He and his wife are total scum.

Google some of their various shenanigans if you feel like a good chuckle.

I like the photos of her

Yeah after I posted this I've been enlightened.

Trailer park trash.

Seriously? Their point differential was 10 ppg this year. They very well may win the SuperBowl, but there are too many injuries this year to be confident of playoff blowouts. We aren't that kind of team this year

I’m not worried

Pats made the SB what, 5/6 times as #1 seed but local media has really started in with "this COULD be the year they don't make it again!" talk...

As will the delusion he's been the same guy in the last 5 weeks.
He had one bad game in 5 weeks.
The other 4?
3 wins by 20+ and a road win vs a 13-3 team.

I just saw a "stat" comparing Brady's 3rd-down completion percentages at various distances from the first half of the season to the second. They were down significantly across the board, with the decline most severe at greater distances.

"Something is wrong with Brady!"

Apparently aside from the fact that Hogan was unavailable.

smh
How much of that difference is just the Miami game?

It only takes one bad game to make that true (See 2010 season), and every year COULD be the year.

Patriots sport the most explosive offense in the league. Only two other AFC playoff teams are in the top 10, one of which NE has already beaten on the road.

Exactly. Depth. That's it. Huge leap between depth (same thing he was in Pittsburgh, an insurance policy) and being a "key player". But you think whatever you want. I'm done with this nonsense.
Lulz. Every player on the GD actives for a playoff game is there because they have a job to do and a contribution to make. That makes them a key player. If you don't get that you have no basis for calling anything nonsense.

If those guys come back at all we have no idea how effective they will be. Will they be 80%? 100? 50? Who knows? And if our assessment is purely based on right now, you have to admit Brady has not looked like Brady for a solid month.

And Harrison is not a key piece. He's done. If the Pats get one or two big plays out of him they will be lucky.

What are you talking about? Harrison had 5 tackles, and 2 sacks and had something like 5 QB pressures playing half of the snaps on defense after 5 days. set the edge pretty well. doesn't look done for me.

And Hogan just won practice player of the week. Doubt many players win that award playing at 50%

Brady is fine. stop with the hysterics.

People here have such short memory spans.

In 2013, brady had possibly his worst receiver corp in years. Thompson,Dobson, an injured amendola and Edelman. that was IT. Gronkowski was injured that whole year.

and guess what? Brady's stats suffered. he looked poor most of the year only threw 25 TD's and most of the mediots/fans declared the decline is here!

Then guess what? Offense was healthy the following year brady looks good and they win a superbowl!

Then 2015, brady is on fire. then we get injuries to Edelman and hes throwing to guys who arent in the league anymore and his stats suffer.

2016 - team is relatively healthy, brady is on fire and they win a superbowl

2017 - brady starts year off on fire despite injuries to edelman. Then injuries hit his #2 receiver Hogan, gronk misses a game(2 technically) he misses burkhead, white(superbowl MVP) he is throwing to Kenney britt brought off the street. and his stats take a dip.

It isnt hard to see that the effect of players out there with brady affects the offense and his stats. THe pats offense is based Totally on pre-snap reads and knowing where to be. If the receivers are guys off the street and dont see things the same way brady does then the offense isnt going to look sharp.

So YES, the players around brady do affect him/the offense. and there is a much larger sample size than 5 games.
