How do you propose the nfl tellEvery time a minority is being requested to interview for the HC position I get the idea that said franchise doesn't give a **** about said coach and is just satisfying the rooney rule. The rooney rule is totally backwards! What a crock of ****!
If the 32 corrupt owners really gave a **** about diversity they would find a way to enforce the rooney rule at the high school level, at the college level, and at every position level in pro football except the head coach level. We all know the tremendous political power they have to influence things if they want to.
Another thing I start to wonder about the Rooney rule, if it's enforced how it is , there must be a great deal of racists biggots among the corrupt 32.
This **** is completely backwards. It's disgraceful!
This will impact how potential coaches feel about the Cardinals:
LOL, of course they did. He lets them do whatever they want without fear of consequences. It's like a classroom full of middle schoolers with a substitute teacher every day. Perpetual party time!I don't know about that, but his guys sure as heck came through for him yesterday when the rumors were flying that he was toast.
Just one less headache to deal with. I think any coach going there would have shipped him out. Now they dont have to deal with it.
And not a high pick. They are now a team without a QB and they don't have a ton of cap space.
There is part of me that wants the Rooney rule abolished because as a human being, knowing that in some cases ( see OAK) they are only getting an interview because of the color of their skin has to be insulting.Every time a minority is being requested to interview for the HC position I get the idea that said franchise doesn't give a **** about said coach and is just satisfying the rooney rule. But the reason they enforce it in a case like this is that interviews lead to more interviews and many hc hires have said interviews for jobs they didn’t get helped them get the job they did. There is part of me that wants the Rooney rule abolished because as a human being, knowing that in some cases ( see OAK) they are only getting an interview because of the color of their skin has to be insulting.
I don't think racism amongst owners and FO is a blatent or widespread as it was 30 years ago but the problem is the NFL is a good ole boys network and unfortunately there aren't a lot African Americans in said network.

Andy what kind of spell check do you have, your posts always have some interesting combination of letters but what is arosch? And not a high pick.
You would have to arosch it like harbaugh in sf. Get a game manager QB to go with a good running game and D, use your scheme to give him a chance to be ok while you develop your future QB

High schools and colleges across America what to do?
The purpose of the Rooney rule isn’t to force hiring, it’s to effect long range changes by making sure minorities are included in the process and get the opportunity to interview, and be better prepared candidates.
By my count 6/26 hc are African American which is a larger percentage than the population so I’m not sure how this proves owners are bigots.
I almost only post on my phone any more and don’t take time to reread.Andy what kind of spell check do you have, your posts always have some interesting combination of letters but what is arosch?
Marvin Lewis is staying with the Bengals
Jeff Fisher should put his resume in for the Packers job as a GM. He does a hell of a job putting teams together. Two teams he directly had a role in creating are in the playoffs.
Well, that is certainly the rap on Lewis, one that is repeated often enough to make me believe it is true.LOL, of course they did. He lets them do whatever they want without fear of consequences.
