Per Schefter. Not good news.

Has there been a team this year hit more by injuries than us? Maybe houston. Some big name injuries as well.

Not like he's for the season so he'll be back for the most important part of the season

Chiefs lost Berry; Packers lost Rodgers; Eagles have now lost Wentz; Texans with Watt & Watson; Steelers with Shazier & Haden. The answer's Yes.

King's out too, apparently.

Hightower
Edelman
Cannon
Valentine.
Rookie Rivers
Potential in Mitchell.

Haden will eventually be back but nothing comes close to us.

Hightower will likely be a guy that misses a bunch of games every season. He's got injury prone written all over him. Same with Mitchell. Losing those two guys should be expected at this point.

Boy we need Flowers to play in this game in the absolute worst way.

Otherwise we'll be forced to win in a shootout because there will be zero pass rush.

Every team suffers some significant injuries, but no other team has lost 3 all pros this year (HT, Cannon, Ebner).

Obviously, losing guys like Edelman etc is huge, too, as is losing 3 of the top 5 draft picks since 2016.

Mitchell took a helmet to his knee WTF are you talking about injury prone...

I thought one of the reasons the D played so poorly against Miami was the absence of Van Noy and how Miami game planned for that..

Lee, Reilly, Roberts et al are OK but they pale in comparison to what we have seen from Van Noy this year..

Just be healthy for the playoffs, we'll survive untill then. May or may not be the 1 seed but we need him healthy
Agree. He really keeps it together at LB.

Calf injuries are tricky. They can be a real pain.

I will be happy if Trey Flowers even play spot duty on Third Downs.

Meh.

Might be more interesting to compare the injury lists of last season's playoff teams:

AFC:
Miami, Oakland, Houston, KC, PIT and the Pats.

NFC:
NYG, Detroit, Dallas, Seattle, GBY and Atlanta.

Anyway, instead of guessing, you can look up the current, complete injury lists, team-by-team - including IR'd players and the number of games non-IR'd players have missed - on Pro-football-reference.

Since this is a very low priority on my "Give a F**k" list, I'm not going to put the effort into doing the research, but someone else could.

Not sure if this link has been posted: Pats have 3 all pros on injured reserve, along with Julian Edelman, Shea McClellin, and 5 top draft pics from 2016 and 2017: Patriots now have 3 All Pros on the injured reserve, along with Julian Edelman, Shea McClellin, and 5 top draft picks from 2016 and 2017

It's getting a bit ridiculous. I said some time back in the middle of this deluge that it was like 2015 but it just keeps on coming.

I dont really get what the point is.

The NFL is the sport with the highest injury rate and everyone is aware of it. You have to built your roster to be able to withstand that if you want to be successful. Sometimes you are lucky and things work out and other times you are closer to the mean (or even beyond it) and your team needs to adjust for it.

I am sure other teams are feeling about 2014 and 2016 the way we are feeling about 2013 or 2015 and think that they had a good shot at winning the SB over us if it was not for injuries.

In other words.. whatever, gotta keep trying to make the best out of it..
