Haden will be back. Hope this isn't a Bob Sanders moment for the Pittsburgh D.

He's just now starting to jog indoors. I wouldn't call him a lock to be in the game. Maybe next week. I think Pittsburgh plays decoy with the injury report all week long with a 'questionable - game time decision' designation, and then declare him inactive before the game.

Big difference between jogging indoors, and running full sprints, cutting, changing directions. etc.... he won't be active for action for a while, if you ask me.

I would need to dig it up again but I did some research on the performance of the Indy D with/without Bob Sanders.

Every important metric changed for the better with him in the lineup. Total yards per game, yards per play, sacks per game forced fumbles, INTs, points..everything. It was incredible. Clear reason was he deserved DPOY.

I know you are not implying it but Haden is not a 1/10th of the player Sanders was then.

Absolutely. Sanders was the DPY, a gamechanger.
A few years ago,Hayden was a top 10 cb-not even close now. He'd be the 5th best cb on the Pats now.
And even in his prime, he didn't have 1/10 the impact of Sanders. Bob was an amazing player.

We are banged up no doubt about it, but they are without Shazier their best defensive player(prayers to him). That makes Gronk a bigger play as well as the RBs in space

I don't see them winning this game to be honest. Too many injuries, Roberts and Lee on D, playing against an explosive offense. It's a shame because what looked like a magical season, has likely turned into a WC game against SD or Baltimore. Yikes....

You need to draft a linebacker in April. Sorry but Hightower seems to be a bit injury prone. You can't continue getting by with jags like Lee & Roberts etc. They are going to get abused this Sunday.

That Miami loss has left zero room for error. None. Because the 1 seed is mathematically impossible with a loss Sunday. Furthermore, even a win and you still gotta worry about the 1 seed. Because Buffalo & Jets are tougher games for the Pats then Hou & Browns for Pit. That Miami game may be the killer. I mean if Miami beat NE, why won't Buffalo? They have about an equal D.

Brady cheating comments are all nonsense as we all know but if you want to claim they are true then you must:

Confirm Elway (vaseline on jerseys) and Montana (silcone, stickum) are cheaters and discredited
Acknowledge Steelers deflated balls as well as they were below 12.5 PSI in game against Giants
Accept the "fact" that Big Ben is a serial rapist (he was suspended so it must be true)

and so on and so forth - the fact the the Pats offensive stats exploded after "spygate" proves nothing of course
Brady stats post deflategate tanked almost immediately if I am remembering correctly

I assume most of these idiots do not actually believe what they say and just want to create buzz but who truly knows - maybe they are this stupid

Even if we end up with the 2nd seed, it still doesn't mean jack. The way Pittsburgh has been playing, I wouldn't be surprised to see them 1 and done in the playoffs, which means the Pats will host the AFCCG. 2nd seed does not automatically mean you'll be travelling anywhere. We just need to worry about ourselves, and take care of business.

Every person. I called 3 local engineers to get quotes on something a few months ago and they all sounded exactly the same(overweight, middle aged, probably smokes). It felt like i called the same guy three times and he just pretended to have different names. Anyway i chose one and we met up, he looked exactly like mark madden.

Just read a Planet Steelers thread and saw the game is getting the officials who have called the most penalties this year.

One poster fearful of better disciplined Pats teams fears the worst but it turns out both teams are tied at 13th with 92 penalties.
