Floyd sucked last year in ARZ, he sucked here in NE, and he’s gone on to suck in MIN. Notice a pattern anywhere?

It’s certainly not me wanting to act like my opinion is better. It’s simply a fact.
So you dont know the difference between a fact and an opinion

What the hell are you talking about? You’re just trying to be argumentative.

Floyd caught around 30 balls in ARZ through all but three games of last season. He sucked.

He’s gone on to catch 9 balls in MIN since he left here.

What about this is “opinion?” It’s a fact that he’s sucked in the past two years. Anyone would state that.

Reminds me a little of Brandon LaFell in terms of size and hopefully brings similar results on the field.

Seems like big bodied injury insurance that gives he team a skill set that they need more than Dorsett’s to me.
Seems that way too me too. He’s not awful (IMO) and has great height to give them something besides small fast guys. Without Gronk and with a rusty Hogan, they were too easy to push around, it seemed like. In the red zone it’ll be nice to have someone besides Gronk with a physical presence who can run decent routes. Plus injury insurance as you said.

This signing seems much more about 2018 than 2017.

My guess is that Britt replaces Reedy on the roster.

And I believe on that TD reception he got a high ankle sprain and was put on IR.
Most likely. I seem to recall a blown hammy but I easily could be wrong.

Your rating of any player is your opinion.
His production is a fact, that he wore #14 is a fact. He sucked is an opinion.
I happen to think he did well in his role as a last man off the bench replacement here last year.

Too bad Jacoby is no longer around to shadow Britt, and make sure the player does everything he should.

I don't think that'll be an issue. Remember he went to that R school.

Wr needs to be a point of emphasis this offseason.
I disagree. Cooks, Edelman, Hogan, Mitchell is a really really good (and fairly inexpensive) top 4. Would be nice to keep Amendola after this year too, not sure if they do. Say Britt replaces Dola on the depth chart. Do they really need to invest in a 6th WR? Or do you think that they’ll easily be able to acquire a receiver that will perform better than one of the above receivers?

Need to release 1 for Britt as well.

My OPINION is that he did well against Miami last season. Hell of an effort for the td and one of the best downfield hits I’ve ever seen.

I watched Britt out here in Cleveland and, as someone said earlier, he was terrible and had an attitude problem (not unusual playing for a bad team). That said, he did show signs of the ability that the Browns signed him for. The Pats need size at WR, so BB is willing to take a shot on Britt. All these late season acquisitions, however, show a team that still has holes to fill due to a rash of injuries to key personnel. Not a good sign going into a crucial game against the Steelers.
