Nick Wright? Lol, this dude looks like a lab rat. He must be married to a sex doll.

This is the same Nick Wright that said that the GS Warriors were done after Durant got injured during last season...hmm, how'd that work out in the end Nick?

For whatever reason, I'm really not worried going into the Steelers game, and I saw last night coming a mile away.

Hot takes aside i'm concerned he's missing practices and clearly banged up right now the concern isn't he is done but it could potentially be a problem for the rest of this season, you would be foolish to not be slightly concerned about Brady missing practices every week for 3-4 week.

This banged up team/QB badly need a bye week and you risk losing that to Jacksonville if you lose on Sunday.
An Achilles only gets right with rest, so it'll probably be a bother for Brady from here on. There just isn't much else that can be done. So yeah, like you, I am concerned a bit.

As far as the deep ball, that's been forced all season. It's magical when it works, but it hasn't worked the way I think most of us thought it would . . . I don't care what the numbers say. Brady has six INT's and, if memory serves, at least four of them were on attempted deep balls - two last night and two more to Dorsett in other games (not including the one Alford caught that was negated because of roughing). It just hasn't been there consistently. As up-and-down (and injured) as the OL has been, some of the hits are not on them. They're a product of Brady having to wait for long plays to develop.

With all that said, I think the team will be fine. Get a few players back on D, get Hogan back to form (only can happen by playing more football) and somehow get in the other QB's face more often (I know, I know), and things will be okay.

I guess if you dont go 13-0 and put up 400 / 3td /0 int he end is upon us. Didn’t the same exact thing hsppen after week 1. It’s good for us if anything, unless brady’s issues / bumps are truly debilitating sit back and watch him bounce back.

I figured it would a tight 24-13 Pats win. WRONG

LOL.... I sure hope this is KC 2014 all over again....

We're onto to Pittsburgh.... Gronk is back, hopefully we get a few key players on defense back as well, and end up doing to Pitsburgh the same thing we did to Cinci.
Same story as this seasons opener. They wait for one bad game by Brady to attack him and call him washed up. But whatever, I expect this from the media.

What really disgusts me is when it comes from our own supposed 'fans'. Brady is playing through an injury and had a bad game. Nothing I saw last night made me say "his physical skills have deteriorated".

He was obviously uncomfortable in the pocket and not having Gronk OR Edelman hurts. He targeted Cooks too much when it was apparent that he was being locked down by the corner. I wish we had tried more to get Dion Lewis rolling early in the game. Those INTs by Brady and the tight coverage on our receivers really threw him off the rest of the night.

As bad as we played and as bad as the game was coached, we lost one goddamn game after winning eight straight. People need to chill the **** out, its embarrassing.

The Pats will beat Pittsburgh on the road, maybe even blow them out as a statement game which tends to be a pattern when the vultures start coming out for Brady.

The offense without Gronk seemed punchless. Couldn't run the ball, Thuney got abused again (which is becoming problematic), this is a game where Edelman and Mitchell were sorely missed, Dorsett and Hollister are clearly JAGS but why did they get no opportunities, and Brady's achilles injury is a problem.

If Mitchell was healthy I'd like him to be the IR return, but with Branch going down we might need Valentine depending on the severity.

We had a bad game. I don't understand whats the big deal about that. One of the more entitled fan bases which cant take a 3 and out punt before declaring the game is over so no reason to point fingers at media doing hawt takes IMO.

@KontradictioN I think these type of threads are really good. Kind of makes the posters accountable for their actions and their posts in the GDT. Only banned one poster last night, but probably could have banned at least 5 or 6.

Kudos to @Elijah for predicting last night's outcome. Not too many people saw that coming. Hope you're right about the Steelers game as well.

I think that is a lot different than posters saying "game over" after we are trailing 6-0 in the 1st quarter. Talk about quitting on the team...wow.

I take it that mcdaniels won’t be getting the miami head coaching job any time soon.
We keep saying this every yr last 5 yrs we lose a game. Yet the final results speak for themselves.

Yeah this is basically my thought as well. I am more concerned about the achilles now than previously. We need to take care of business against Pittsburgh and the NYJ. If the number one seed is not on the line in Week 17 (either it is lost to us or Pitt chokes) you've gotta rest Brady assuming we have a bye. Give him plenty of time.

If it was just a bad game w/o Gronk and had little to do with the achilles then watch out they are going to bounce back with a vengeance after this.

If Brady doesn't under throw Cooks twice, we aren't having this conversation. Two terrible throws with no pressure. Brady played like crap. He does that from time to time.

Thuney got abused again (which is becoming problematic)

I know this is the hot takes thread but can we some breaks on the anti Thuney circlejerk that is going around ?

Howes pressure stats in general dont look amazing for anyone but Mason. Fleming I assume got a ton of help on Wake so his stats should be seen in context. I am not sure 4 mistakes on 61 snaps count as getting abused.

Maybe you missed the OP where I said as clear as day that posters in this very forum can be included in this thread.
