Gronkowski May Have Put Himself in Harms Way For Rematch With Bills

Ian Logue

Rob Gronkowski's fourth-quarter hit on Tre'Davious White may have put himself in harms way with the NFL in terms of a suspension, but that may not be the only thing Gronkowski has to worry about before this season is over.

Do not see BB holding Gronk back, unless the NFL decides otherwise, the Pats/Gronk need to face this thing head on and not run from it..

Stupid mistake, stupid penalty.. deal with it and all of its consequences..

Brady might be more at risk than Gronkowski for a cheap hit..

Keeping Gronk out may be the right thing to do. You don’t put him out there if the Bills seek redemption.

This is a championship drive not a case of justice.

Ok Tommy?!

What a load of BS. If the Bills really want to man up, Tre-Devious should come out and say, "yeah, I played Gronk really tight (cough cough) and he got mad, but he served his penalty (assuming there is at least a fine and probably worse, coming down the pike today) and we should all move on. It's just football." But he won't and they won't, because we live in a sad age where everyone takes grave offense to everything and must exact their pound of flesh. You suck Buffalo. How about you focus on improving your team instead of hurting a guy that you can't stop unless you hold him multiple times on every play?

you don't sit anyone because they might be targeted......Gronk will get a game and the Bills will get a warning about what they said....and if the Bills still do something about it, then we will have a new bountygate to watch

oh it happens. Pay back happens, even in baseball for crying out loud.

I know it happens, but to cry foul about it, and then immediately follow up with "we'll make sure to pay back"....

Well, he definitely put White in harm's way, that is for sure.

BB may just sit him for the next Bills game and that’s ok

If the Bills got caught scheming to knock Gronk out of the game, then there would be punishments comparable to Bountygate. They’d be stupid to try that.

Yeah, the guy made a "great play." I could play CB if I was allowed to grab hold of the receiver all the way down the field.

Against Gronk, it's pure brilliance. He's faster than he looks on film, he's 6'7", and he's as strong as a Bull. The zebras won't call it every time. Hell, yesterday they weren't calling it at all. Why not interfere with him on almost every play?

I don't think they'd scheme it, but I wouldn't be surprised if they launched low at him.

League wouldn't give a shyte if the plotting is against NE. They'd find some way to excuse it/look the other way. Hell, NE's own owner says the good of the league is more important than the good of his own team.
