Maybe they can have the state attorney press charges like Montreal wanted to do with Chara.I expect Gronk to get suspended. and because it's the patriots, I expect it to be a 2 game suspension. It wouldn't surprise me if they suspend Gronk 4 games though because it's the patriots.
There is no way a player deserves to be suspended for a game for that. But suspending Gronk for a game would be consistent with the stupid approach of the nfl toward suspending players. If Gronk had just fallen on him that would have been one thing. But he gave a deliberate and nasty shot to White's head. Pretty disgusting. And with the NFL having to pretend it actually cares about player safety and concussions, there's no way Gronk is escaping a suspension for that.

The routine suspension from games is a prominent feature of soccer. What? There was no phony flopping happening. Gronk deliberately went for the head out of out-of-bounds player after the play was over.

Rodney can express his own opinion without you attacking him as being Goodell's puppet. I felt like Rodney was being sincere and he doesn't deserve this crap from the fans of the team that he helped to put on the map. This is it exactly, if it was any other team that late hit wouldn't have made the highlights, but since it is a Pats player all hell will be breaking loose if he isn't suspended.
P.S.
FU Rodney Harrison, you should know your wrong when you agree with Grundy.
Gronk's hit was not even a football play. It was a very dangerous violent attack after a football play was over. The victim was face down on the turf, the attack was a WWE style elbow to the head with the weight of a 6 foot 6 260 Pound man purposely added to the attack. If he had broke his neck he would be going to prison likely.
A one game suspension is absolutely needed. However, AJ Green threw punches and attacked a player a few games back and received nothing, after play as well.
I was just looking at the replay. Whether it was deliberate or not, Gronk nailed him directly on the head. It wasn't just hitting him in the back and having his head bounce off the ground.don't think he deliberately went for the head.....hit him in the back and his head bounced off the ground
It is impossible for a bulls fan to come to a patriot board and be trolled.Omg why am I getting sucked in to this trolls argument?
The hit from behind was BAD. Not Gronk like.

Great post. If he gets a game suspension, no big deal. Take it, get through Miami and move on.I'm not gonna crucify Gronk and act like he's some scummy human being for committing one dirty play after 7 years of being in the NFL. All the idiots on social media saying the guy should get arrested for assault and suspended for the season are simply being holier than thou, acting as if one action entirely dictates a man's character.
That being said, he was definitely wrong on this one, and should probably get a game suspension.
Gotta also say a lot of fans in here are really showing their true tin foil hat form, and acting like if Gronk even gets a game, that it's everyone out trying to get he Patriots.
Just stop it. Gronk made a dirty play. There's a new precedent with plays that are in this nature. It is what it is.
I do doubt it was meditated, though. Meaning I doubt Gronk was thinking "I want to give this guy a concussion."I was just looking at the replay. Whether it was deliberate or not, Gronk nailed him directly on the head. It wasn't just hitting him in the back and having his head bounce off the ground.
Were you there? Why the hell didn't they listen to you?it was getting chippy as hell. I kept screaming for the refs to control it, but they didn't.
