Cassius Marsh Released

I would have settled for Marsh's mental block.

Just roll his brain out there and it would have tripped up ball carriers in the backfield all by itself

What's the difference between a #7 and the hoard of free agents that Belichick signs every year? Virtually nothing.

You're right but BB whiffed on this one. However, the value of the error was not big. ((and, fyi, there's no such thing as error free coaching, GMing or playing))

Let’s examine the facts as we stand today.

Cooks - win
Bademosi - win
Ealy - loss
Allen - loss
Gilislee - loss
Marsh - loss
Dorsett - loss

Thank G-d, never seen a Patriot DE worse at setting the edge.

Cassius replacement on the 53 is Eric Lee, DE from the Bills Practice Squad?

Does anyone here have any real information about how other teams do with their low draft picks and UDFA's? Without that, there's no ground to stand on in evaluating how this team is doing. Do the Pats really whiff on more of them than other teams do?

53 players, plus practice squad, for every team

In the end, every team comes out exactly even, so your question's really not answerable. How they get there, and with what talent level, is where the difference lies.

Noooooo, not the Magic player.

Reiss seems to think Reilly's play on ST made Marsh expendable.

Eric Lee:

A second-team All-Conference selection, Eric Lee received the Lee Roy Selmon award as the USF's best defensive lineman while also serving as a team captain in 2015.

A two-year starter, Lee played right defensive end for the Bulls and impressed with power and agile movements in space. Lee looks the part with a long, athletic frame and juiced-up movements. He initiates contact with extended arms and will eat up the cushion of a tackle off the snap.

He has quick hips and will whip around the edge with a tight turn. Lee planted FSU’s Dalvin Cook in the backfield in their matchup by using a speed move to beat the left tackle and then jamming down on space to make the tackle.

An upside player with the height, weight, speed and length to work into a rotation at outside linebacker, Lee is worth a phone call as the draft is wrapping up.

No doubt in my mind that Reiss is 100% spot on. Add in terrible edge setting and you can see why bb had to make a move with him.

I'm going to guess that you weren't around for the 1-15 or 2-14 seasons..

Oh where art thou, Marion Hobby and Sean Smith.. May the heavens have smiled upon you since the Football Gods didn't..

I love when people make claims like this.

Marsh is 6'4 and 252 lbs.

Ninkovich 6'3 1/8 and 260 lbs..

How is that "too small" to fill Nink's shoes?
Try using your eyes rather than some listed size on a website - Marsh doesn’t have the sturdy frame of Ninko. He is thinner.

Sure. As you as you get your cranial/rectal inversion procedure done. SMH..

Seriously? They are the measured sizes taken at the combines. Not some guesswork BS by some keyboard jockey such as yourself..

You claimed that he was "too small" and your claim is BS. Changing your argument to talk about Marsh's "frame" doesn't help you either..
