This is another one of those cases where the stats dont give the full picture.

Yes, we are not bad in the redzone. But you wanna know what took away any chance to overcome the defensive issues against the Chiefs & Panthers and what made other games unnecessarily close? Fieldgoals instead of TDs.

Similarly, MB could also have a significant effect on our third down conversion rates which would sustain more drives and keep the defense fresher/off the field.

Having Bennett back despite his injury we could just simply let him be there in the red zone areas, he doesn't have to do anything but him just being in the area they would have to match him and Gronk..

He can just be there to be a pain and a threat more than anything.. we don't have to target him but if they leave him uncovered it's a potential easy TD?

Which in turn strengthens us as far as the cap hit, if the signing bonus is recovered and wiped from his contract.

He told his agent to tell teams not to claim him....when BB called.

His comment suggests he was cut then told his agent to tell teams he isn't interested (unless MB knew he was getting cut but hadn't actually been cut yet).
