It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Van Noy is having a very good season.I have probably been one of the most critical posters and hostile when it comes to Van Noy. I have said time and again him being a starter he is a bad sign. Even I will admit he played very well yesterday. I am still not on the Van Noy wagon but if he can string more like that together we will see.
Sorry to hear about your medical situation Ken. I will say though that medicine is advancing all the time and hopefully something can be done about the damage that was done to your body in the future.
Didn't we just have that vs ATL?It would be nice to see the Pats cruise to a win without all the breath holding on my part
Having a 2 score lead inside 2 minutes and the Patriots have the ball driving in the opponents territory would be nice, but that would be asking too much,,,LOL
That narrative continues all the way through the season, even if they win the Super Bowl. Think about our past two SB wins. It's always a debate of did the Seahawks/Falcons lose or the Pats win?The Pats have been moving the ball, I just think when they are ahead in 2nd half that they have their minds on running down the clock . They are not the aggressive team they were in the past. Dropped passes, penalties and sacks in the red zone and no JE. I think this came about due to the slow start of the defense this year. Trying to shorten the game.
Boston media.....what is the Pats record now?......1-7? seems like. Every postgame starts with "if" the other team had done this, or if they didn't drop pass or played smarter.... Before the game its always this will be the test, and then after the other team sucked that's why the Pats won.
Now its Denver, that will be the "real " test, you know if they win it will be Siemian sucks. If they beat Pitt it will be ..."well they always beat them" ditto the Bills...

Every HC makes mistakes based on 20-20. hindsight But the fact is that given the roster he was forced to put out on the field this season, I think he's done a great job making that team competitive for the 7 of the last 8 weeks. So yes I think firing Bowles after this year would be a big mistake for the Jets organization. Which by definition is why it is likely to happen. What being a big mistake? Firing a poor coach?
I agree. Interesting that 2 of the more criticized extensions this off season were to Van Noy and Waddle. Now Van Noy is the rock of that defense, while Waddle has gotten significant snaps both on the Left and Right side this season.Van Noy is having a very good season.
Well he essentially got hoyer too.I agree. Interesting that 2 of the more criticized extensions this off season were to Van Noy and Waddle. Now Van Noy is the rock of that defense, while Waddle has gotten significant snaps both on the Left and Right side this season.
Maybe after 20 years and more superbowl appearances some of ersatz GM's here might just concede that Bill might have an idea what he's doing.
That being said, I do wish he'd gotten a bit more in the JG trade. Perhaps an additional 5th round pick this year or a 4th next year
Yeah, I guess so. BTW- A muscle relaxer eliminated the severe neck pain I was dealing with almost completely. I finally got some sleep and when I awoke today I finally felt the trauma to my legs. That's how bad the neck pain was.Well he essentially got hoyer too.
Hey, sorry to hear about your health issues, hang in there, hopefully it will work itself out.
Not that you asked me, but I’ve been a bit of a Bowles supporter for awhile. I say that understanding that they’re in a rebuilding process and that his hands are tied a bit with some of the front office moves. I liked the way he put the headset controversy to rest, and how he handled the ASJ touchdown overruling. He’s not a guy who makes excuses. He takes responsibility for his team.Every HC makes mistakes based on 20-20. hindsight But the fact is that given the roster he was forced to put out on the field this season, I think he's done a great job making that team competitive for the 7 of the last 8 weeks. BTW- you ARE saying that Bowles is a bad HC? its not just sarcasm
