Yea I fell hook, line and sinker the Mary Cabot speculation CLE was offering #12 when they weren't. She didn't know squat or was being fed bad info by BB as she and he are buddies. It's S.O.P. for those kinds of reports to pop up in situations like this. However, people can't pretend to be logically consistent if they were using Schefter as their reason for saying the Patriots weren't trading JAG in the offseason and now try to minimize reporting (Schefter was on board with the idea that there were first round picks offered for JAG).
The best ability is availability...That's an odd way to spell "Dont'a Hightower".
My brother is a 49er who never misses a play. He has hated every 49er qb since young.Brian Hoyer had a winning record in both Houston and Cleveland.
Brian Hoyer was putting up good numbers on a garbage team in Chicago before he got hurt.
He may not be an elite QB, but he can play the position.
But unlike San Fran, Jax has no backup QB to include in the deal. This is just another dimension to the massive F up by Belichick. By not trading JG in the offseason and then trading Brissett to Indy, the Pats limited themselfs to a single trading partner!
BB did everything imaginable to minimize JG’s value. I seriously wonder if he’s showing signs of Alzheimer’s.

I asked him about hoyer this year and he said hoyer was fine, but he had to run for his life every play so that tells me both that hoyer wasn’t benched for sucking and jimmy is walking into a meat grinder.

The year of trading Patriots QBS for nothing.
Didn't the 49ers have a bust WR to throw in the deal and ride the bench like Dorsett?
Good thing that will never, ever happen... right? Please?Man, once Brady leaves we are all gonna need some serious therapy...
A high second and a backup qb who knows the system and has started and won a bunch of nfl games is a lot more than nothing. The year of trading Patriots QBS for nothing.

I cannot believe that this thread devolved into petty arguments.
Don't undermine the GOAT coach, he won't ride this ship to the bottom of the ocean, he'll find the next one before its over which will be more than likely in the '18 draft
And chance at one of the Josh's Allen or Rosen?
