New MSNBC article calls for BB's suspension

Please.... If there is a "code of silence" about it. (as the Packer official said there is) Then that "code of silence" should be upheld. Otherwise, you come off as a spineless whiner like Polian. and now Manwha-wha. How come only four teams have complained about it? Three of which have an ax to grind with the Pats.

You're right, all teams encourage cheating. With every game, there's an opposing team's personnel on the sideline shooting tape. What would be the point? Why not just give the other team your playbook? Spineless whiner...that's rich. Try to have a discussion without name calling.

Try getting your facts straight for once, or try softening that very thick head of yours that can't understand that this has happened to the PAtriots repeatedly in the past with no big deal ever being made, and the guy was filming ONLY FROM THE PATRIOTS sideline.

And even though this has been pointed out to you repeatedly, you refuse to accept it, which makes you a TROLL.

I didn't read through this thread just the first few post. Ayways this is the same guy who wrote this article

Your ignorance is astounding. Try doing a little research before you pop off. On your own forum, there is an entire post regarding the still-shot of the cameraman ON THE JETS SIDELINE! The whole discussion on the topic is that he was on the Jets side. You just made obvious how little you know about the topic. If you bothered reading my first post, you would know the purpose of the discussion.

You made the point about using videotape already. We get it. What are the white lines? During the course of play. Through the game itself. A player or coach picking up on something during the game. Do you not understand the difference? How much more blatant could cheating be in a game? Walking over to an opposing side line and filming their signs, are you kidding me? By the way, a "rule violation" as you like to put it......is cheating.

Wow, I guess SD fans, like LT, all cry like *****es. It'll be funny to hand you clowns your asses again this Sunday.

So, this is the only thing you're contesting now. I'm goin by what the NFL said. The NFL said he was on the Patriots' sideline wearing Patriots gear. Jets fans are the one claiming the guy in green and khakis is the cameraman. But I guess you prefer to deal with speculation than what the NFL has already officially said, and you have no comeback for the fact that you have no idea what cheating is.

A rules violation is cheating.

"Forget losing a draft pick or two if the Patriots are found to have violated the league rule against videotaping another team’s signals. Belichick, if he is at any way responsible, should be suspended for a bad attitude that has played out in ways that makes Terrell Owens queasy...."

OMFG what a total tool that writer is. Suspended for a bad attitude? What a goon.

When it possibly changes the outcome of the game, yes it is cheating. What exactly is cheating to you? Apparently, there's no such thing. And that cameraman IS the person in question. And NO, he's not a Jets employee. Try reading some more material. He was in plain clothes, but had NE credentials. I'm not lambasting your team (as noted from my first post), but please stop trying to rationalize the activity (if it's confirmed to be true).

Cousins,
Some of this is an accumulation of my earlier threads. Sorry. What I sent to the MSNBC Sports editor:

"You have my permission to use this material. Heavens knows it's more reliable than your boy Cook.
Observations on the Pats spy incident:
1) The guy has a better view of the action than the Jets coaches have. By jeepers, they should have gotten a better look at what was going on. If that is Mr. Patriot cameraman ("Deep Shorts"), perhaps the Jets Security Chief should have his butt fired! Was his name Inspector Clouseau?
2) I can see this gentleman in "green" (Deep Shorts) turn around when someone asks him if he was a coach or Jets personell? and he says back, "No, but I slept in a Holiday Inn Express last night!".
3) At least BB had "Deep Shorts" dress in Jets green so he was not conspicuous. It was like a scene from the Dirty Dozen when the U.S. convict soldier dressed as a German soldier, couldn't speak German when the German trooper asked him for a light....Busted. Maybe Mangini asked him for a light in German? Or how about former Pats coach Daboll? That name could be German?
4) The only guy I have seen get closer to the action in a game was the Burger "King" dude....

Wait a minute!!!!

5) Maybe the guy taking pictures was the guy from "Fatheads"sports images and the Security Chief only noticed him because his camera was bigger than he was? You guys can all relax. He was doing a new Fathead of Randy for your kids rooms!
6) I am sure if this spy stuff was true, BB would have had one of those cameras for "Deep Shorts" like the tape recorder in Mission Impossible, saying if anyone found out about the mission, BB was "disavowing any knowledge of this" and have the camera burn up to a crisp in :10 seconds. Mr. Kraft could afford one of those.
7) I think we saw this guy on the "grassy knoll" too.
8) If this was a real spy job, wouldn't they have concealed the camera in a fanny pack or one of those fake huge 10 gallon foam rubber fake cowboy hats with a hole punched out or at least a shoe box? Haven't you ever watched Get Smart?
9)We know this could not have been a BB idea. BB would have made sure this guy had a cyanide pill in case of capture."

So did the Pats cheat when the beat the Chokers, sorry I mean Chargers last year? This is going to fire up the Pats like nobody's business. Best put this one in the L column now Bolts fans.

Genius. What does this have to do with the Chargers? I'm pretty sure fans from teams all over the country have some questions. Just like your own fans do. I'm glad to see your so confident in a Pats victory....maybe you should make your SuperBowl plans now. And just how does the implication that your team has cheated, fire up your team? Seems it would work the other way around.

The Pats players know the truth. Being disrespected and smeared by punks is going to have them frothing at the mouth. It's going to be like 11 Rodney Harrisons on defense. It will likely be more lopsided than the 38 point mercy killing of the Jest.

and just as an FYI, I have already put in for SB week as vacation time.

Cool, now we can use that as ammunition on our boards that ALL Patriot fans believe the PATS have another Superbowl in the bag. Sound familiar? Yes, and Im sure all the NE players are reading these posts, looking for motivation. You guys are classic...you take every little interview (and lets not forget the commercials, by gosh) and turn it into disrespect. You'd think with a team that has multiple rings, you could rise above it and take it for what it is. Hilarious.

What use is "ammunition" on a message board?

Exactly right. Did you know that the motivation Rodney Harrison uses to fire himself up every Sunday has it's origin in an incident that happened to him 20 year ago? Whatever it takes...feel free to use this board as you see fit.

Nahh, we require a little more than worthless media interviews and sound- bites. We have enough motivation without that petty stuff.

No he's not the person. The person is 26 year old Matt Estrella, and pictures of Matt online show that the person on the Jets sideline is most definitely NOT him.

Next, making a videotape cannot possible change the outcome of the game. Using the videotape to steal signals can change the outcome of the game. When the Dolphins last year used videotape to steal the Patriots signals, and they ended up winning the game, the Dolphins laughed and admitted it. The NFL looked into it, and said that using videotape to steal signals is perfectly fine. Nothing wrong with it.

CHARGE: BB was not kind to Solomon Wilcots during an interview.
ANSWER: Wilcots was trying to bait BB into saying something negative about the Colts victory. He was trying to get him to downplay it by saying the Patriots had the flu and ran out of gas. BB refused to play that game so he gave Wilcots the stock answer he deserved.

Bob Cook is a horribly bad journalist.

I'm not going to read this Colts fan's garbage, so I'll take your word for what he wrote. Yes, the post-AFCCG interview with Wilcots did not go over well. This is a fact that BB himself acknowledges. I was listening the other day to The Afternoon Blitz w/ Adam Schein and Wilcots on Sirius NFL Radio, and Wilcots cleared the air on this subject after a caller complained about BB's behavior. BB and Wilcots ran into each other during the offseason, and BB apologized, saying he was caught up in the moment. Wilcots, to his credit, did not hold a grudge and explained to the audience that it's an emotional game and reporters shouldn't take when something like that happens personally.

Hey all,

The guy who wrote this is a total Colts fan (as has been pointed out earlier).
Eventhough he lives in Chicago, he loves the Colts and apparently the Yankees. So, he probably has some anger towards NE in general. I looked at some of his posts at this site.

And then if you read the list, check out this article in particular since it has to do with ficticious writing. Labeled, "Sports Spoofery"

The guy has an axe to grinde

How interesting. An article written by a probable BB hater posted by a Chargers troll. Is it Sunday night yet?
