Barely, so I don’t think he is any part of th answer.
Deone Bucannon MLB "money backer" for the Arizona Cardinals.
1. The Cardinals season is all but lost.
2. He's on his 4th year of his 5th year contract (drafted 27th in the 2014 draft)
3. Has been one of the best coverage linebacker in the league since moving to the position
4. Has and can play the Nickel backer and SS position, and do so competently. Could be a replacement or backup up for chung as well.
5. Just played his first game of the season this past Sunday after being activated off the PUP list. Had 12 tackles (11) solo, and an interception. Perfect time for ARZ to shop him.
6. Undersized LB's are finding success across the league. (i.e. Telvin Smith just signed a 4 year 44 million $ contract with Jacksonville, which one ca argue it was rightfully deserved)
7. He's owed 8.7 million next year if he's on the roster, no dead hit if he's not, however it is guaranteed if he's injured.
8. MOST important, it's a position this team desperately needs.
I say we send them a conditional 6th that could turn into a 5th with playing incentives, and Dwayne Allen.
They've been hurting at the TE position, and with Palmer out, I'm sure they are going to be forced to run more with AP, so it makes sense.

Their season when down the drain when palmer went down. Interesting option but are the cardinals willing to deal him?
Why would the Cardinals trade away one of their key players for a 5th round pick and a half-season rental at tight end? I’m not sure the Patriots’ second round pick would get that trade done.
Supreme Court justice Felix Frankfurter?
Lower your opinion of Karlos Dansby by about 90% and it will all make sense. He turns 36 next week and is on a one year deal. He has no impact on Bucannon’s future with the team.2nd round pick. lol
They already have Karlos Dansby and Haason Reddick, he's a luxury at this point, and they won't be contenders this year, and most likely not next even with a rookie QB.
You have to give him credit, he had "Draft Demarcus Ware" as his signature for a year before that draft.

Very true and something I think a lot of people are forgetting. BB has already moved a lot of draft assets recently for deals that haven’t all worked out.The Pats are low on trade capital unless someone needs a running back and is willing to part with a decent defender. BB already has frittered away several draft picks.
What's the hidden (to me at least) meaning of this tweet that suggests he might be back?
There are LBs available on the street right now who are better than Roberts.Who would be available for trade? I can imagine better players, but not necessarily better available players, unfortunately.
