I'll admit I was wrong about the defense getting abused by Atlanta and Brady would have to shoulder the load once again. Somehow after all these years this team finds a way to surprise me.

In my defense most of the keys to a win I posted proved true.

Holding them to field goals in the redzone will be imperative to have a realistic shot, wrap up tackles are a must, and the run defense must shutdown their backs. The offensive line can't allow hits or pressures on Brady, receivers and backs must be sure handed, need to shorten the game by going on long marches that result in 7 points, discovering a potent rushing attack would go a long way, and turnovers can't happen. There is no room for error for this team to pull this game out.

Wow, great win, Atlanta came out with some intensity in the beginning, but man the Pats gave it to them. That Oline is def going to be a concern against the Steelers, but other than that one weak link, this team is starting to really round into shape

Our D is trending down the right path it seems. Their PPG is down to 23.7. The O is also down to 27.8. This was a solid game all around. We got some tough D's coming up in the second half with Denver and Pitt. D is gonna have to play great ball because the O "may" have a hard time scoring points in those 2 games.

Fitting ending would have been Butler pickin off that TD pass to Jones and preserve Shut Out to Def especially with all Def was going through. How fitting that Def gave up 6 straight 300 yds to QBs and one that was a lock to out of all of them was held under 300. Kudos to Def.

Agree but we need to get more efficient in the red zone on offense. Fortunately there is still a **** ton of potential for improvement with the players we have.

The scoring drive before half time was just beautifully executed by the team and designed by McD. The calls, time management and execution was near perfect.

Some of the RZ “inefficiency“ was part of complementary football as well in this game ( I felt that after 7-0 all BB cared about is to make it a two score game on that 4th drive to grab control of the game after nervous start on both sides). In general I agree RZ O has work to do..
