I know the rule but couldn't see whether he regained control before touching out of bounds or not.

I think it was his left foot that slid out first. Might been knee or hip. Happened while the ball was sorta hanging in midair.

Literally everyone outside of delusional pats nation thinks the tuck rule was a terrible call.. theres a reason they got rid of that rule
Ahhhh, I get it now.

Your Jete deserve to be jobbed out of games because they're the Jete. And you, as Jete Fan, deserve to get the kick in the nuts that you want so much.

Replay does not show clearly when ball crosses goal line. Everyone in the studio said that. Makes up for that missed FG call.
But if you read his post it doesn't matter. It clearly was out before and then he needs to reestablish possession and he definitely didn't. Remember that would require 2 feet (or down by contact first) because it's the same as the pass catch standard.

W-what?

Was this your first football game? I could understand this line of rant better if it was.
If im referencing a playoff game from 3 years ago, how could this be my first football game? At least TRY to use logic in your responses

Lmao you think im a jets fan Keep trying bud

AT WORST, thats an incomplete pass call. The fact that the pats got possession of the ball is just an utter embarrassment. Having said that, its an officiating issue, not a patriots issue
that is the absolutely only call that would be totally 100% WRONG. Iirc from vid, Receiver ran at least three steps with the ball [**], he had possession. The bobble was caused by a subsequent dB arm strike. You can't call incomplete.

[**Edit: went back to NFL mobile to re-watch the play. I counted six steps over the course of three yards dragging a defender with him. ]

Since I can't recall it ever being called besides recently against the Patriots I'll agree.

I've seen it called several times this season already in non-Pats games. Maybe it's a "point of emphasis" for officiating crews this year?

If it was a terrible call why would they change the role?
It is only a terrible call if they do not enforce the rule properly.

Or are you saying refs are supposed ignore the rule and call what you think the rule should be?

Literally you should stick to watching air hockey because the game of football is too advanced for your peanut brain
Ill keep watching football because im not too insecure to dissect the game objectively

It's a rule.

For example: This ball is out of bounds and the kicking team was penalized for kicking the ball out of bounds.

Btw: The Packer player made a seriously heads up play here.

The whining of Eagle and Fouts about the TD reversal was sickening.

It wasn't just them...it was the entire CBS studio...plus any independent observer who doesn't wear red/white/blue tinted glasses.

It really aggravated me that the broadcast failed to show replays of penalties multiple times. First play after the TD call is reversed we see Lewis run for 25 or so yards. Called back holding - never see it. That called basically forced the Pats to play conservative that series. Twice they called defensive holding when the "normal call" is offensive holding - no replay. Never saw the block in the back on the Jets last punt return. Giving the audience a chance to see momentum swinging plays is something they may want to consider going forward.

That said, endzone call was absolutely correct. Ball came lose and he landed out of bounds after gaining control. Argue if you dislike the rule but call was right.

Are you a moron?

Hey caught the ball and cut upfield, that's established possession. Which he then fumbled

As you can see here he lost control of the ball

The replay does not show when he regains possession. But even if it
was all crystal clear, the D was bailed out by a fluke play. Had he been an inch before the pylon they retain possession. Not the kind of play we can count on. Are you confident heading into the Falcons? Lotsa holes in this team.

Then dez bryant also scored a touchdown against the packers in the playoffs a few years back. Blame the rulebook if you want to, i dont care who or what is at fault. That is an absolutely horrific call that bailed the pats out

He caught the ball and made a football move. He had control of the ball and ran towards the end zone. It was already a complete pass.

He also clearly fumbled. If he recovered the fumble and a part of his body was out of bounds then that was the correct call.
