Ugly stretches, no doubt... but it's FOOTBALL, right? Sometimes the other guys do good stuff. Sometimes your guys aren't "as advertised." Sometimes bad calls and bad non-calls make it worse. Sometimes injuries make it worse. Happens to everybody, it's just "the end of the world" on our gameday threads, it's got to drag you down beyond the actual impact of the bad play.

He drops some of those hard thrown passes (eg. on slants) in every game so far. It is not just the one drop in this game.

Yet he catches incredible game changing deep passes nearly every game

We are beyond fortunate to be where we are right now. I watched it happen and still not sure how this game is tied. Oh wait...........jets, that's right.

We played great run d we have mismatched all over the field in the passing game which has led to big plays. Should be at least 21-14 if the pi calls were being made as they should.

Offense is going to tear up the second half. We can run, we've hit deep plays now everything opens up.

That's the thing : One of the reasons this season has been frustrating is that there is such obvious talent on this squad (Cooks catch, Gronk up high, Lewis elusiveness, Brady's brilliance, Butler's pick, D airtight after such a rocky start) that when things seem to fall apart, it just doesn't add up... how can that kind of talent be so mind-boggling at times ?

That is also a reason for hope. They have been underperforming. We know they can play better. Check back in November.
