I stand by my first thoughts on what Cam said to that reporter: that he meant it’s funny how far women have come with regards to understanding football.
That’s a true statement. I’m always surprised when I hear women TALK football. Like, it’s a legit turn on.
The only reason I think he’s apologizing is because people took it the other way: that women don’t know anything about sports.
And we have some salty posters here jumping on him because he kicked our ass a few days ago... come on it’s not that deep people.

Gill primary running, Lewis running a few and maybe catching a few, White the primary receiving back, DA the go to WR, Cooks the target when TB has extra time, Hogan the alternate. If the OL can just play modestly semi-decently that is a lineup that can score points.
I could probably give him a pass if a female fan was talking to him and he said that to her. I get your point. But given that covering football is her CAREER, to be impressed that she is basically doing her job comes across as incredibly condescending.
