It was a bad trade even at the time, for sure. But I think it looks a lot worse in hindsight due to his patellar tendon tear. That's a brutal injury - most guys don't fully come back for 2 years, and never get back to 100% (Jerod Mayo and Victor Cruz being the two biggest recent examples I can think of).
