Biggest issues for me are:
1. How long it takes to adjust on offense. Brady is a creature of habit now. He likes his safety blankets. His top 3 wide receivers are now guys who are better vertically than horizontally, while he is a QB who is better throwing horizontally than vertically. We need to adjust, and quick, because NO are gonna put up some points next week and then the Texans come to town who are going to have a similar game plan to the Chiefs along with a ferocious pass rush. I don't think it will happen, but it's not completely outside the realms of possibility that there is a 0-3 start here.
2. Depth on D, in particular in the front seven. We currently have a number of potential has beens and some not yet made it players on D. I think a few of the problems tonight were scheme choices which are correctable but it's worrying that in week 1 we were forced to play a bad safety at LB, a guy who only arrived 5 days ago, a rookie at DE etc. One or two more injuries could ruin this D. I think Hightower (if healthy) has to go back to the middle. The defense runs through him.
